Lin Ye is waiting for the effects of the holy bell of Pramanix to finally stop helping him and Leaping Wave Strike like a lamp losing its oil.
He despises injuring or killing others. But he has no choice. If he lets Mephisto go, all of Kjerag will suffer. He admits to doing something wrong, even evil, to others. But he was dead set on killing him.

After dealing with the undead, with the boost from Wave Leaping Strike, he could easily catch up to him in a matter of seconds. However, it appeared that his buffs were coming to an end.
He's forced to rely on Maple as support. His sweat causes his vision to blur as it runs down his face, or is it because he's about to pass out? He has no idea.
Kjerag's cold tickled his skin, but he shrugged it off. Because he is tired, his breathing is erratic. His eyes go in and out of focus.
Mephisto will be able to easily take his head if he returns at this time. Fortunately for him, Mephisto was so terrified that he didn't dare to return and stare into Lin Ye's eyes.
Finally, Lin Ye collapsed on the ground. His strength finally gave out, unfortunately.
"Doctor Lin!" Sussurro hurries to Lin Ye's side and asks anxiously, "What happened to you?! Are you okay?!"

"I'm fine." He tries to reassure her, then he says, "You can stop helping me. We don't know if those people will return, pass me my gun. Even if I'm out of bullets, I can throw it at them as a distraction. Also, call SilverAsh and inform him of what has occurred here. Then you can go upstairs and hide, as well as find a way to contact Lappland. Where is that stupid dog now." Sussurro ignored the last part.
Sussurro insisted, "I'll take you upstairs first."
"Forget about me, I can't walk at all. I can still hold them back for enough time for the SilverAshes and the others to come to help us. There is a gun in my coat pocket. Take it." Lin Ye smiles bitterly, "You better protect yourself first-"
Sussurro shakes her head repeatedly, with a stubborn little face, "Absolutely not, if I can't..."
Sounds faded out of existence for Lin Ye.
Lin Ye couldn't hear her because he had just used two boosts at the same time. He can still see her mouth open and close, but he is unable to hear what she says. His conscious eyes flicker in and out. Finally, his body shuts down due to exhaustion. His body leans on the wall.
"Doctor Lin Ye! Doctor Lin Ye!" Sussurro called out, as she became even more anxious.
But at this moment, a warm hand lands on her head.
"Don't worry, it's okay." The person says softly, "Let him take a good rest."
Sussurro turns around. Seeing if someone suddenly appeared, she is surprised to see who it is.
"Miss God?"

Cliffheart decorates two tombstones with flowers and catnip. Then she folds her hands in prayer for them. She says quietly, "Mom and Dad. I've come to see you."
Pramanix, Silverash, and Matterhorn surround her.
"Master," Matterhorn says quietly. "I really didn't expect that..."
"It's okay," Silverash says as he raises his hand and stops Matterhorn, adding, "You go down first, take care of those things at home, and let me stay here for a while."
Matterhorn glances at the siblings. He nods, "I understand."
In front of the gravestones
SilverAsh and Pramanix are both standing next to each other. Snowflakes begin to fall one by one.
They have no idea how long it took Pramanix to say something, "It's been a long time."
"What exactly do you mean?" SilverAsh asks.
Pramanix says softly, "The three of us, in front of our parents like today." She stared at the graves, "It's been a long time."
"It was four years ago, the night before you fled from your position as Saintess."
Pramanix was silent for a while, then said, "You should be in the Tribal Council tonight."

But to Lin Ye, he just thinks that he's just a brother of his patient.
Lin Ye breaks the silence, "I heard it's tradition to visit your family before leaving"
"It indeed is. What are you trying to say?" SilverAsh is intrigued by this question.
"Go with your sisters to see your parents' grave."
"I can't. I have the-."
"Denied." Lin Ye cuts him off.
He then walks passes SilverAsh without looking at him.
"If you want to have a better relationship with them, especially with Pramanix, go with them during the visit. Good luck and goodbye" Lin Ye continued, still walking away from Silverash.
Silverash finally turns around and sees Lin Ye's back. He is waving his hand to SilverAsh as he enters the forest.

"A... Friend", Silverash says. He then looks at her.
"Anya."
Pramanix looks at him.
"I will not deny that I have done so many wrong things to you. I will not deny the harm I have caused you... So, please allow me to say to you, I'm sorry."
The wind around them becomes stronger messing with Pramanix's hair.
She raises her hand, tidying up her hair and at the same time, she is concealing the slightly raised smile at the corner of her mouth.
"Family is important,'' Lin Ye says.
You may be right, Doctor Lin.
"There is nothing to apologize.", Pramanix says, "You did nothing wrong... Brother."
At that moment, Silverash clenches his cane tightly, and his shoulders tremble unconsciously, but he quickly calms down himself.
He then let out a small smile and said, "Yes, my dear sister."
The two look at each other and smile.
