I forced myself to ignore Mercury and her comments, although it wasn't the easiest thing to do. I couldn't help but find myself comparing myself to her. Looking at Pierce's exes I was not the typical girl he was into, usually a tall skinny blonde girl with brown eyes. Mercury knew exactly what to say or do to get under my skin, she painted the picture of her and Pierce together in my head over and over again. It was a quality of being a manipulator, one that she knew how to use to her advantage.

"So Aspen," Archer began shuffling through a pile of papers in his hand, snapping me out of my thoughts "You were born in Seattle, Washington on January 14th. You lived with your dad and mom before your mom died three years ago, nobody had been found. You attended Parson county elementary, middle, and high school which is where you met Cayde Matthews. You dated Cayde for a year or two but broke up after the night that happened with his friends. You reported him, taking him to court but the court ruled him as not guilty due to football players getting special treatment in the small conservative town. After Matthews and you broke up, you were bullied by peers for what happened that night. Dad needed to move around this year for work so you moved in with Aster to complete your senior year. That's all the basic information?"

I nodded slightly as I sat in the chair, staring up at Xander and Archer who went over my life story. We sat in the middle of the study while the rest of the gang wandered around the grounds of the house meanwhile I was stuck being interrogated. Archer had insisted they know everything about me in order to find anything the Coinston's could potentially use against me.

"Do you have any extended family? Grandparents? Aunts? Uncles?" Xander asked as his eyes scanned over a printed out paper. "Uh yeah, a lot actually." I cleared my throat "Mostly on my mom's side."

"Was Cayde ever involved in any gang activity?" Archer interrupted as he placed a folder on the desk in front of him. The words with Cayde and gang together didn't sound right to me, he was a bad boyfriend but never dealt with anything gang-related. He was just some football jock that liked to play girl after girl. "No, not that I know of." I pressed my lips in a thin line, the thought of Cayde making me sick to my stomach.

There was a knock at the door before I turned my head around to see Phoenix walk-in hesitantly. I looked over to Xander's face that had flushed red when she approached. I furrowed my brows together as I watched Xander react to her presence. I remembered Pierce making a comment about Phoneix to Xander but never really got into the topic. It appeared that Xander had some type of romantic feelings for Phoneix, his tough-guy persona slowly melting away as she stood across from him.

Phoenix leaned closer as she whispered something in his ear. The words were too muffled for me to make out but the expression on Xander's face had dropped. Xander sent Archer a look before they both quickly headed out of the study and raced to the front doors. I pushed out of my seat and followed behind them as they both rushed out of sight. I stood at the side of the wall at the end of the hallway before the doors opened to reveal Mr. Gunner.

"Well, Xander aren't you going to let me in." His words slurred from his mouth as he took a swig from the whiskey bottle he had held in his hand. Mr. Gunner was visibly drunk, stumbling as he pushed his way into the house. His eyes drooped as he walked closer to me, stopping at the end of the hallway.

"Now Ambrosia." He pointed his index finger at me "If the Coinston's are after you, there is only a matter of time before the Vipers get you too." His words were staggered as he spoke and I had no idea what he had been getting after. Why would the Vipers want me? They were a gang located on the West Coast, I had nothing to do with them.

I looked over to Xander for some help as I could smell the alcohol coming off of Mr. Gunner's breath. "Dad-" Xander pulled him away from me "You cannot be here." "I can't be here?" He cocked an eyebrow at Xander, stumbling before Xander caught his balance "Oh come, Xander, you know that I was once the leader of Crestmont. More leader brains, the more problems solved."

"Mr. Gunner." Archer cleared his throat "We have it all under control." Mr. Gunner scoffed a laugh before finishing off what was left in the whiskey bottle, placing it up to his lips and pressing his shut. "You." He tossed the bottle to the side "You're in some deep shit, Ambrosia."

"Well sherlock holmes, haven't you done it again?" I rolled my eyes, not wanting to deal with Mr. Gunner or a drunken Mr. Gunner. Xander had sighed before pushing his dad to the living room where everyone seemed to be gathered. Pierce's eyes grew in worry as soon as he saw me enter behind his dad, knowing anytime I had been around him it was a recipe for disaster.

"What the fuck is he doing here?" Pierce scoffed, shoving his dad back. Mr. Gunner lost his balance from the shove by Pierce and his body smacked against the wall making us all flinch at the sound of the contact.

"Pierce, don't," Harley warned while pulling him back in order to keep him from beating the shit out of his dad. Pierce's eyes snapped over to Xander with a glare, Xander putting his hands up in surrender. "He showed up here, I didn't tell him to come."

"Let's get him upstairs." Sawyer sighed as she and Harley went to help him up. They placed his arms around their shoulders as they began to head towards the staircase. We all sat in silence as we watched Xander and Archer who looked as stressed as ever. "Aspen we'll take a break for now. We seemed to have other issues to deal with now..." Xander muttered frustrated before heading out of the room followed by Archer.

"So?" Triston nudged my side "What did they ask you about?"

"Just basic information." I shrugged my shoulders, not wanting to get into what had happened in the study. All the questions made me feel on edge, I had no idea why they needed to know half the information that they wanted. I glanced out of the side of my eye as Mercury pushed herself off the couch, walking over to Pierce.

She walked her fingers up his chest before sliding her hand down his torso. I swallowed a lump in my throat as my eyes were filled with a glare, holding back the anger within me. Pierce looked over to me before pushing Mercury away from him.

"Oh come on Piercy." She teased "Join me in the hot tub, just like we use to."

"You know what, Mercury?" Juniper spoke up when she saw how Mercury was on Pierce "That's a really a good idea, maybe we should all join." Mercury's face fell as she rolled her eyes at Juniper in annoyance, obviously the invitation not being an open one. I didn't know how much longer I'd be able to take it, watching Mercury throw herself at Pierce without being able to say anything. I knew if I'd continue to react to her everyone would grow more suspicious than they already were.

With that said Juniper grabbed Triston's and I's hands and pulled them both of us upstairs. She shut the door behind her as we entered the grand bedroom where the sunlight peeked through. "June-" I started as Juniper stated for both of us to get changed "This probably isn't going to go over well, plus I don't even have a bathing suit."

"It'll be fun," June said as she threw a bathing suit at me. Triston had headed to the bathroom to get changed and I sighed as I looked down at the stringy red bikini that I held in my hands. My eyes widened as I pulled the bathing suit apart "Um, yeah no. This is going to cover my nipple and that's it."

"Ok, I'm sorry I'm flat-chested." She chuckled "Don't be so dramatic. Just put it on." I sighed as I turned around and began stripping from my clothes and pulled the bikini bottoms on as well as tying the top on. I stared at myself in the full-length mirror that was attached to the wall, adjusting the top as much as I could but the top didn't leave much to the imagination.

All three of us had gotten changed before they led me to the hot tub that was in a side edition of the house. It led to a room with an indoor pool and hot tub that was half the size of the pool. The room was built out of polished wood that matched the walls and floors. The wood on the walls separated the lengthy glass windows.

The guys already had managed to beat us down there and my heart pinged in my chest. I don't know what it was but for some reason, I had felt that this wasn't going to go over so well. Anything, where Mercury and Greyson had been around, was in fact not going to go over well. Mars, Tucker, Cypress, and Pierce spread themselves out throughout the hot tub, which had been easy with how abnormally big it had been.

"Here here," Mercury said cheerfully as she walked in with Greyson at her side. The purple bikini she had on was tight, her boobs practically popping out of it. Mercury pushed past me as she lowered her body into the water. June dragged me into the water and I could feel Pierce's eyes scan up and down my body.

I lowered my body into the boiling hot water that had already been up to a hundred degrees but it had been nice after the harsh winter from New York. Cypress blasted music through the speakers that had been attached to the walls before his and Juniper's eyes catching each other. I watched as she averted her eyes, her face flushing bright red.

Pierce pulled me down next to me, leaning closer to my ear. "Don't pay attention to her." He whispered, his peppermint breath faltering across my skin. I knew he was referring to Mercury and how she was always on him, it had been hard to restrain myself. No girl liked watching another girl throw themselves at their boyfriend, let alone that girl being his obsessed ex.

"So Aspen," Greyson's lips tugged up to a smirk "Is it true that you use to be your boyfriend's girlfriend that he shared with his friends? I guess they really do mean bros before hoes, although sharing is caring."

"Wow, Greyson." I laughed sarcastically before my face went cold "I was sexually assaulted, so funny, right? Find something else to come after me for because I'm getting really sick of it. The fact you have to dwell on my past so you can get to me, grow up already."

"Oh is poor Aspy upset?" Mercury pouted "Can't take a joke? Well, at least you and Pierce can bond over your sexual trauma."

Everyone had fallen silent, it was an unspoken rule for no one to bring up Pierce's past and being raped by his own aunt. My heartfelt as I looked at the smirk that was plastered across her lips, looking over to Pierce whose face was cold as ice. No one dared to speak, not knowing if Pierce was going to blow up any second. Mercury was an entirely different level of a mean girl, she was the devil himself but had the audacity to say she ever loved him.

I went to go after her but Pierce quickly grabbed me by my waist, pulling my back against the seat. Mercury gave an amused look as Pierce pulled me back in order to stop me from going after her. I wanted to slap that smug smirk right off her face and I looked at Pierce confused as to why now he'd stop me. His eyes locked on Mercury, the glare not disappearing from his eyes. We all waited for Pierce to say something, not knowing what would happen next.

"You know Mercury, you can say whatever to me but make one more comment to my girlfriend and I'll fucking kill you." Pierce matched her smirk as her face fell as the words left his mouth. My eyes widened as I had just realized Pierce let it out to everyone, knowing this wasn't going to go over well.

"Um, what did you just say?" Triston's mouth gaped as she looked over at Pierce and me. I stuttered as I tried to find the words to say but failed miserably. Pierce pulled me into his lap, the water crashing against my body. The look on Mercury's face was one I'd pay for, it was priceless, to say the least. Her smirk soon was wiped away while her brown eyes went dark as she stared back at me.

"Excuse me?" She managed to force out while Greyson looked just as pissed off as she was "W-What about us?"

"There is no 'us.' I told you I'd pick Aspen over you any day and I'm not going to sit here and watch you tear her down when you're nothing but a piece of shit." Pierce gritted "So how about you leave my girlfriend alone before I flip the fuck out."

I hadn't been used to Pierce hearing me call his girlfriend, the words made my heart flutter in response. Everyone was pretty much in shock except for Mercury's whose eyes filled up with tears. Greyson placed a hand on her shoulder in order to comfort her but Mercury tore away from her. "I told you it'd be you." Her voice cracked before she forced herself out of the water, grabbing a towel and wrapping up her body that filled with goosebumps.

She slammed the door behind her as she exited and a part of me felt guilty. I hadn't know why I'd felt bad for Mercury, she has done nothing but make my life a living hell since I had gotten here. Although I did know the feeling to lose your first love to someone else, the pain was unexplainable.

"How did you not tell me?!" Triston shouted at me, splashing the water at me. "Oh fucking finally." Cypress threw his head back before looking at me "I could not take another day of Pierce's constant 'Aspen this Aspen that'."

A chuckle left my lips as I looked at Pierce who flipped off Cypress. Greyson became silent as she sunk down into the water, not knowing what to do next. I couldn't get Mercury out of my head and I hated myself for feeling guilty but I couldn't help it. The guys all engage in a conversation while I zoned out.

"I'll be right back," I said to Pierce before getting out of the hot tub, wrapping a towel around my wet body. I headed upstairs to where Mercury's bedroom had temporarily been. I argued internally with myself on why I was doing this, like an angel and devil on each of my shoulders. I sighed as I came to the door, raising my knuckles to knock against it.

"Go away!" Mercury's voice shouted while I could hear her cries. "Please don't let me regret this," I mumbled to myself before pushing the door open to see Mercury sitting on the ground in front of the bed with the towel wrapped around her dripping wet body.

Her eyes snapped up to mine, her mascara had been streaming down her face as her eyes bored into mine. "Go Away!" She shouted at me, wiping her tears away from her eyes. Letting out a deep sigh I took a seat down next to her "Now I know you hate me but I'm not just going to let you see in here and cry alone."

"You're seriously the last person I want to see right now." She muttered under her breath but I wasn't going to let her words drive me away. "The feelings are mutual," I commented back, tightening the towel around my body as she sniffled.

"I get it, I do. Now despite how much I can't stand the shit, you've put Pierce through I will say I know how you feel. I lost my first love to another girl too, it was horrible. Heartbreak sucks but losing your first love is a whole different type."

"You don't get it." Her tears streamed down her face "You will never get it. Pierce was my everything, we did everything together. I was so depressed and what did he do? He went and cheated on me with two of my friends. I was so oblivious.."

"If he hurt you so bad why stay stuck on him? You're not ever going to get over the pain if you don't get over him." I tried to understand Mercury but couldn't. After I found out Cayde cheated on me I knew that if I wanted to get over the pain I would need to end it altogether.

"We had a whole future. We talked about getting married and having kids. He went on family vacations with me, he taught me how to drive, and was always there for me." She reminisced on the memories with Pierce "Then it was just over."

"Mercury you know it yourself, you and Pierce were not good for each other. I know it's easy to ignore the toxic-ness when you want to pretend everything is fine- but that's exhausting. For how many years you've been so focused on Pierce and getting Pierce back but how about the time for yourself? Yourself is more important than any guy and you need to give yourself that self-love."

"No." She shook her head back and forth "I knew this would happen, ever since I saw you in the office the first day you transferred to Northeast. I was already trying to get him back and when I looked at you, I knew I never would. You're everything that I'm insecure about."

Mercury was insecure? I know it was a stupid question because every girl had their insecurities but Mercury pushed past hers. She had a way of making you think she was confident, knowing her beauty but I guess she hadn't been able to see what everyone else did. I thought it had been ironic that Mercury was insecure about me when I was the same way with her. Like I had said, Pierce's type was blonde girls with brown eyes and she made me wish I was anything close to her but I wasn't.

"Are you serious?" I asked her shocked "I've beaten myself up since I got here for not looking like you."

"Yeah well, Pierce chose you."

The door swung open to reveal Greyson standing at the entrance. "Get out." She demanded at me and I looked over to Mercury who refused to look at me. I knew Mercury wasn't going to forgive me, it had been a lost cause and I guess we were never going to make things right. I decided to just keep my mouth shut as I pushed myself off the ground and headed out of the room.

I headed back down to the hot tub to rejoin everyone, feeling defeated. I tried with Mercury and that's all I could give myself but I knew that she wouldn't just let it slide. She was obsessed with the idea of Pierce, this dream she had been imagining. When your dreams come crashing down it becomes more than just a nightmare, I understood what she had been going through but I couldn't help but finally know Pierce was happy.

I lowered my body back into the hot tub as I dropped the towel on the floor, running my hands on top of the water. Pierce broke out of the conversation he had been in with the guys, looking over at me with a face of concern.

"I tried." I said, sinking lower into the water "But she hates me."

"You are the only girl in the world that would go and try to comfort their boyfriend's bitchy ex-girlfriend." Pierce narrowed his eyes at me, intertwining his fingers with mine "Just ignore Mercury, she'll get over it. You said it yourself she's manipulative, this is what she does."

"What's Xander going to think about this?" Tucker spoke up "I mean after all there is no dating in the gang."

"He's not going to know." Pierce sent Tucker a warning look. I didn't know what was going to happen now, if it wasn't Tucker it'd be Mercury or Greyson to spill it to Xander and Archer. I had no idea what was going to happen when they found out, a part of me not wanting to know.

"Have you fucked her yet?" Tucker's lips tugged to the side as he gave Pierce a narrowed eye look "I mean after all the guys that's she's probably been through she's probably loose."

"Get the fuck out Tucker." Mars scoffed, rolling his eyes "You're just fucking jealous because Aspen didn't want your shrimp dick." I was surprised to see Mars and Cypress now sticking up for me but I guess it was a package deal when you start dating their best friend.

"It's an honest question. I thought you only went for virgins Pierce."

"He's not worth it." I shook my head, pulling Pierce back before he went after Tucker and had a repeat of what had happened at the club. Cypress warned Tucker to get out once again in which he did. Cypress, Mars, Triston, Juniper, Pierce, and I were the only ones left now after the shit show that had gone down.

"I'm going to kill him one day," Pierce muttered the words under his breath and I could feel how tense his body had been. I looked over to Juniper and nodded towards Cypress, signaling for her to go along with him. I had been trying to get them alone again but with Pierce, it had been hard with how protective he had been over June.

June eventually managed to get Mars and Cypress to follow her and Triston back into the house, leaving Pierce and me alone. Pierce pulled me into his lap, making my legs straddle him as I placed my hands flat on his bare chest that was not covered by the water. Pierce pulled my body closer to his, us being skin to skin.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked, not knowing if now had been the time but it had been pressing on my mind ever since it happened "What are those letters in the back of your trunk from your aunt? The one that you know-"

"How do you know about those?" Pierce tensed up as he sat up straight. "From the time I went to get you clothes after you spent the night in my house, they were in the trunk and one of the letters fell out."

"They're nothing."

"Pierce, please just tell me...Is she trying to contact you?" I wanted to know but I wasn't going to push him to tell me anything that he hadn't been comfortable with. I knew how hard it was to talk about things like that, no matter who the person was.

I reached into the small bowl that had a mixture of chex mix that June had brought down, before eating some as I waited for Pierce to answer. His eyes averted from mine as he looked down, placing his hands on both my thighs.

"She's been sending me them ever since it happened, I stopped opening them after awhile. Most of them are her apologizing while the other half is her saying I shouldn't have spread lies and that I ruined her life. That's what you get when she's a bipolar bitch." Pierce explained and I couldn't believe that she seriously even had the audacity for contacting him let alone blame him.

"I'm sorry.." I trailed off, my heart sinking for Pierce that he had to deal with the constant reminder "Why do you keep them?"

"Just haven't gotten to throwing them out I guess." Pierce shrugged slightly but I could tell there was a reason other than forgetting to throw them out. I didn't want to push the subject any further though especially after how much we had already been dealing with.

I broke out into a coughing fit, hitting the front of my chest. "Are you ok?" Pierce asked, placing a hand to my back as I tried to manage to get out of the coughing fit that had taken over my body. I leaned over the side of the hot tub as I looked into the bowl of chex mix that Juniper had laid out. My eyes widened in realization as I leaned back and massaged the front of my throat.

"Peanuts..." I managed to get out as I began breaking out into another coughing fit. Pierce's eyes grew wide as he immediately pulled me out of the hot tub, wrapping a towel around me as I fought to catch my breath.

I had been deadly allergic to peanuts my entire life, with no real immunity to it. I could feel my throat starting to close, my breathing becoming super unstable. Since I had no real immunity to peanuts the reaction was going to stir up faster than a normal reaction and worse than a typical one.

I tried to walk myself out of the room but could barely stand from how much I was coughing, my lungs feeling like they were collapsing on me. Pierce picked me up bridal style with no hesitation before rushing out of the pool room, heading to the main entrance of the house. I kept my hand present against my chest as I reminded myself to stay calm.

"Harley!" Pierce yelled, his voice echoing through the house as he rushed to the living room. Pierce placed me down on the couch and Harley came running out to the living room. Tyson, Theo, Alexandria, Phoenix, Sawyer, and Harley were all in the living room while Cypress, Mars, Triston, and Juniper rushed down the steps after getting dried off and dressed.

"What's going on?" Harley asked frantically and I looked to see Xander and Archer join in the living room after hearing all the ruckus. "I guess there were peanuts in the mix that June brought down, she's allergic," Pierce said, stressed, running a hand through his hair.

"Oh my god!" June gasped, throwing her hands over her mouth as the guilt had taken over "Aspen I'm so sorry, I had no idea-"

Harley knelt down in front of me and I could feel myself getting lightheaded as I gained less and less oxygen. "Do you have an epi-pen and inhaler with you?" Harley asked and I nodded slightly looking over to Pierce, knowing he helped me pack everything in my bags.

"Pierce go get her Ventolin inhaler and epi-pen. Get in quick before she goes into anaphylactic shock. She doesn't have much time, her lips are already turning blue." I watched as Juniper and Pierce took no time hesitating and both made their way upstairs to go find my things.

"Stay calm." Harley checked my pulse on my wrist "I know it's scary but if you freak yourself out more it'll make it worse." I had known what Harley was saying was true but it was hard to keep yourself at bay when you couldn't even breathe. I was thankful Harley use to go to nursing school, not knowing what I'd do if she hadn't.

"What's going on?!" Xander asked in concern as he walked up to the other side of me. "She's having an allergic reaction. Pierce said she's allergic to peanuts." Harley explained and soon enough Pierce and Juniper came rushing down. Pierce handed me my inhaler while Harley took the epi-pen from Juniper.

I could see the worry on Pierce's face and know he was trying to keep it together. I was getting lightheaded myself, barely being able to keep my eyes open. My shaky hands raised the inhaler to my mouth as I pushed it down, taking in the two puffs that it had spared.

I began gasping for air, not managing to get any into my lungs as they closed. "She's freaking out, it's going to make her lungs close faster." Pierce knelt down in front of me, placing a hand on my thigh as everyone gathered around me.

Harley rubbed the skin on my thigh before taking the cap off and jabbing the pen into the side of my thigh. I gripped Pierce's hand in pain as the needle shoved into my skin, the medicine seeping into my bloodstream. I had been epi-penned twice in my life, both I was on the brink of unconsciousness so I could barely remember it had even happened.

My nails dug into the skin of his hands and I began to gasp for airs seconds after the medicine was injected directly into my bloodstream. My gasping turned into coughing which had been a good sign. If someone was coughing it meant they were breathing no matter how bad it had sound.

"You'll start breathing again, the injection works within seconds. You may feel super hyper or jumper after, the epi-pen makes your adrenaline rise." Harley instructed as she stood up from the ground. Pierce's worry started to wash away as I began to cough meaning I was gaining some air.

"Baby breathe." Pierce squeezed my hand, my coughing became steady before its returns to my normal breathing. My chest felt heavy but I was finally being able to receive the correct amount of oxygen in my lungs. My eyes widened in the realization of what Pierce had just said and he closed his eyes and muttered "Fuck" when he realized as well.

"Excuse me?" Archer spoke up, crossing his arms over his chest. Pierce stood up from the ground turning around to face Archer and whatever was to come. I could tell everyone had heard what Pierce said, catching onto what was said.

"Ok Archer, Aspen just had an allergic reaction. How about we drop it for now-" Xander started, trying to defend Pierce but we all knew Archer wasn't going to drop it. "You two. Get dressed and in the study now." Archer gritted, pointing at Pierce and me.

"Fucking Christ," Pierce muttered under his breath and I looked over to Xander who let out a deep sigh. Pierce had already been in constant trouble with Archer even before I moved here, never being on his good side. It was mostly because Pierce pushed Archer when no one else did, everyone just obeyed him.

After we had both gotten dressed we made our way to the study. Harley was right, I did in fact feel like I wanted to jump out of my own skin from the medicine. The effects of the pen could take a couple of hours to wear off as well.

Pierce and I both hesitantly pushed through the doors of the study, bracing ourselves for what was about to come. Archer paced back and forth before pointing to the two seats in front of the desk he stood behind. Xander stood off to the side, near the bookshelf with his lips pressed in a thin line.

A few moments of silence went by before Archer stood in front of the desk, stopping his pacing. "Now I didn't fucking think I would find myself in this position but it has been made very clear to the both of you that dating is not allowed in the gang. You have not only gone behind our backs, but you have also lied, and broken rules that you were reminded of numerous times."

Pierce slouched back into the chair as he rolled his eyes as Archer continued to ramble on about how we broke the rules. I shifted uncomfortably in my chair, wanting nothing more than to leave this room. I thought the interrogation on my life story was bad but this had been ten times worse.

"You. two. are. not. allowed. to. be. together." Archer gritted each word as he slammed his fist onto the desk. "You can't tell us who we can and can't date." Pierce snapped back "Remember when you forced me to watch over her when she moved here? What the fuck did you think was going to fucking happen?"

"When you join Crestmont, you join with the knowledge that dating is prohibited." Archer sent a glare in both of our directions. "But I didn't even want to join!" I exclaimed, stepping up to Archer "I was forced, which gives you absolutely no right to overrule who I can and can't date."

Archer looked over at Xander, biting back his tongue before he flipped out on the both of us. Xander walked up to the desk and let out a sigh "You both know the rules, you knew this would happen."

"No, I'm so fucking sick of this bullshit. You don't get to have rules against people's love lives." Pierce yelled back at them both "And Archer how about you learn to fuck off because you know the leadership role doesn't even belong to you! You just pushed yourself into it when no one wanted it."

Pierce had been radiating anger as he stood up from the chair, shouting back at them. I knew Pierce wasn't going to stand for this, letting them dictate what he was going to do with his life or what I was. I didn't see how it was possibly fair for them to make such a big role, we all spend so much time together it was only realistic some people would fall for each other.

"Sit down." Archer gritted at Pierce but Pierce ignored his request "This would typically end with some kind of punishment but because we can't suspend or have anyone leave the house due to circumstances, punishment will be a lot different. Maybe if Pierce didn't make the comment in the living room, we wouldn't be here."

"Because I was comforting MY girlfriend when she needed it and it just slipped out!? Sorry I care more about her than I do about your damn rules." Pierce shouted at Archer, his comments rattled him even more.

"Consequences will be faced tomorrow. Till then you two are not allowed to be near each other. Aspen you should go get some rest." Archer's fist pressed against the desk as he looked down at me. I stayed silent, keeping my mouth shut to not get in anymore trouble.

"Fuck you, Archer." Pierce gritted, sending an ice-cold glare before walking out of the study, slamming the door the shut behind him. I flinched at the loudness, looking over to Xander who looked just as defeated.

Pierce and I handed situations very differently, he was the first to get mad but it had been understandable. I knew that saying anything else would just make the situation worse. Xander turned his head away, his eyes averted from mine as I pleaded that he would say something..but nothing.

Letting out a deep sigh, I stood up from the chair and headed out of the study, slamming the door behind me. My head raced with thoughts, knowing I'd have to find Pierce and calm him down before anything had happened.

Trouble in paradise...

A://N And it's Thursday!!!

I start school on Monday again but the first week is always the hardest so I will try to update as much as possible, but I don't know what will happen.

What did you guys think of this chapter?

Why do you think Mr. Gunner showed up? Do you think he knows something or could possibly useful as he is an ex-leader of Crestmont?

Are you surprised Pierce was the one to crack first? You all seemed to think it would be Aspen

Do you feel bad for Mercury or no? Why or Why not?

Why do you think Aspen feels obligated to comfort Mercury? Do you think their hate-relationship will ever change?

You haven't met all of the Coinston's yet, any guesses as to who may or may not be involved with the gang?

What do you think will now happen with Archer knowing about Pierce and Aspen?

Do you think it's fair for Archer to dictate everyone's love lives? Do you think Xander will step up?

Any guesses for the next chapter?

~Ash
