Week 3; Christmas Week: Part 1

Part 1: Gifts

(Woot, editing this at 3:40AM and also writin- fml!)

(First Person: Techno's POV)

I slid my chair back, sighing.

Christmas was coming, and I still had no idea what to get my friends. I had ideas, yeah, but narrowing down to a budget and actually sticking to it was an entirely different thing.

I knew that Wilbur had a generally music-oriented office, and he'd appreciate something like that. But I also don't know what he already has.

So I opened up my browser and search "music things to give a musician."

A microphone, a speaker, a music instrument, headphones...

He already has all of that, I think, typing furiously. I would like to give him something new but inventive.

So I messaged Wilbur asking what he would like for Christmas, before deleting the message and sending it to our group chat.

Pig Major:what do you guys want for Christmas

I'm on your porch steps:

Come downstairs

Pig Major:why

Dad:

We need to have talks son

Come downstairs son

Sassy Child:we're discussing it already

Turning off my phone, I take my laptop and go downstairs. All of them were there, sitting around the table.

Wilbur was wearing a white sweater with blue squares on it with reindeer ears, Tommy wearing a red hoodie and a Santa hat, Phil wearing a Christmas-themed bucket hat.

"You all look festive today," I joked.

"Get in line and sit down, kid." Phil laughed. Sitting on a chair, I sigh, resting my head on my hands, bringing my knees up to my chest.

"So, ideas anyone?" I started, setting my laptop onto the table and opening up a list.

"Well," Tommy started, "I would like a car."

Phils tea-kettle laugh filled the area. "O-ok, ignoring outrageous things that a normal person wouldn't be able to afford?"

"But we aren't normal people," Wilbur pointed out, reindeer ears almost falling off. "All of us here have a heavy source of income. Also, we have more than 1 million subscribers."

Tommy finger-guns at me. "Yeaaaah, some of us more than others..."

Flicking him, I note to also, along with something else, give him a toy car for Christmas, just to spite him. "Ok, what about you Wil?"

"uh... Anything to do with music."

I sigh. Well, that didn't really help me. But I knew he liked orcas, so I'll probably give him something like that for when he's in his man-child moods. Don't know why that didn't occur to me earlier.

"Phil?" I ask.

"Anything will do- because all I want for Christmas is you~" he sang.

Annoyed, I sighed. "Firstly, that was offtune, secondly, why."

Phil smirked. "All I waaaaant for Christmaaaass..."

"Don't" I warned.

"Iiiiis you!"

Wilbur joins in. "I just want you for my own.."

I sing, in turn, "Please leave me the fuck alone.."

Tommy snorts. "Make my wish come true~"

"All I want for Christmas.."

"Ain't you!" I finish.

"Nice touch there." Phil compliments.

"Yeah, really nice." Wilbur agrees.

"Thanks," I grin. "Thought of it on the spot."

"So, Tommy. What do you want for Christmas?" I ask. He shrugs. "Anything will do, really, as long as it's manly."

He pauses. "What about you?"

I halt. I actually haven't thought about it. Leaning back into my chair, hands steepled, I say: "I haven't thought about it, but maybe just something small or sentimental. Probably books? I don't know."

Phil eyes me. "Ok, well, meeting adjourned." He claps his hands.

I grab my laptop, which I had been taking notes on, and go upstairs. Collapsing on my bed, I snuggled under the covers and started thinking.

Taking out my laptop, I start looking online. Looking at Technology stores for Wilbur, general stores for Tommy and clothing stores for Phil. I clicked on one of the most promising links.

"What would Wilbur want for Christmas?" I mumble. "Maybe I could get everyone gag gifts, and then actual gifts. "Probably a hair brush. Hair for eyes, am I right?"

Clicking on the Microphone section, I raise my eyebrows. A bit costy, but I could get him a guitar amplifier, along with a sketchbook for his drawings.

And a hairbrush, of course. Maybe even an orca plushie.

Moving onto Phil's present, was a bit harder. His gag gift probably will be a pair of wings, as his alias.

You couldn't really find clothing his style easily, so I had to look in multiple stores. I looked at many different stores, including until I found what I anted..

A coat with a belt and another bucket hat, if he didn't have enough.

And in it, I was going to wrap a photo of us all together. He's a sucker for nostalgia.

Now for Tommy.

You see, Tommy's was the hardest. Opening Twitter, I blocked him so he couldn't see what I was planning.

Quickly, before he could question it, I quickly tweeted:

Can someone help me write a book for Tommy for Christmas?

Well, a book was part of my present. So for him I'd have a toy car, a book, and probably something to do with our little coup.

Responses flooded in moments after, mostly awwwws, because they didn't expect me to give a present to the most annoying person in my life, but I was looking for people who were experienced.

Sassy Child:why did you block me on twitterPig Major:Don't worry, it's only temperory... It's for your Christmas present. So chill. Sassy Child:okbut i expect you to unblock me soonPig Major:Ok, that's fine, I was planning on doing that anyway.

I check again. And I found a few promising writers so I took them onboard.

I started writing an introduction. Believe it or not, I actually am a writing nerd. And so were these guys. I opened a google doc.

But then I winced. I had looked at the gifts. But I still needed to get them in real life.

Crap.(Helllooo~ Welcome to Christmas week! This week you guys get 2 full, 2 angst and one social annxiety. It's Christmas, that's my gift. This one was sort of fluff, but kind of not, but it still counts. Anyway, next chapter is extremely long for me, so...Enjoy,)
