Forgiveness

Y/N POV:

As I sat here, tears streaming down my face, the life full of lies replaying in my mind. The sound of the strong wind pushing the grass around, and those fain footstep closing in on proximity. I wiped my eyes and looked back at the forest. 2 tall figures came over to me, my vision blurry, and head pounding, I didn't stop to think. I raised my arms and one of them lifted me into their arms. I was placed on what felt like a horse and we walked back into the forest. I laid down on the figure and closed my eyes. Silente tears trickled down my face as I dozed off to sleep.

I fluttered my eyes open, a small branch had just hit me in the leg. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I immediately recognized where I was, The centaurs home. I looked over to see bane walking alongside me. I quickly realized that I wasn't walking, I looked in front of me to see that I'm on Firenzes' back. My head was pounding, it feels like a jackhammer is being smashed into my temples, over and over. No one spoke, although we were all quite aware of each other's presence. We made it to a small cave, not deep enough for any animal to live in but big enough for covering. Bane walked in followed by Firenze and I. Bane walked over and grabbed ahold of me. I wrapped my arms around his neck as lifted me off of Firenzes' back and onto a rock. They both sat down, Bane across from me as usual, and Firenze next to me. Before the silence set in Bane spoke; 

"What happened foaling?" I looked down as a single tear escaped my eye. 

"I-I uh-uh, Uncle- I mean.." Firenze placed a hand on my back and gave me a reassuring nod. 

"Dumbledore, t-told me who my real parents are. And what really happened. I was just so upset that he lied to me for s-so lo~ong." I started choking on my words but pushed through. "Everyone I thought cared about me, lied to me, for so long. The people I thought loved me, lied to me. Because they were scared of what id become if I knew the truth. But if I j-just knew from the beginning, and he d-dint hide it f-from me. None of this would've ever happened." I wiped my tears and looked up at the men. Bane spoke first;

"Would you tell us who your parents are, it can't be that horrible could it?" I slight worrisome brushed over Bane's face as he looked at Firenze. I took a deep breath,

"Do you promise you won't hate me for it?"

This time Firenxe spoke, "Of course youngling, you arent your parents. We know who you are, your ancestry doesn't change that." I looked down and then back up at the centaurs;

"Emily Dumbledore and Tom Riddle." They both looked at each other, fear growing in their eyes. "Y-You said you wouldn't h-"

"And we won't, we don't break our promises. It's just- do you remember what happened yesterday?"

"Yesterday? H-how do you know about that?"

"How do you think you got to the castle. It was in the stars, we foresaw a horrible force breaking a pure one. We went out in the forest, looking for a sign, that's when Dumbledore, McGonagall, and those elves and dog of yours came running through the forest. That was our sign we knew from the moment they ran in, we ran up to them only to find you unconscious in his arms. We took you and brought you to the castle, it was faster than if they had taken you. We brought you to the castle infirmary and she took care of you there, but we had to leave, in case anything else happened. But what happened."

I took a deep breath and explained everything once more. "...And then I woke up in the infirmary..." We sat there In silence for a long time. Bane looked at Firenze and they nodded. 

"Stay here youngling, we will be right back." I nodded and brought my knees to my chest. Why cant my life just be normal.
