kassidea's pov | eight months ago

He said, "let's get out of this town, drive out of the city away from the crowds"

"...C'mon Kassidea, let's get out of this town! It's so boring here!" Jonah whined, grabbing onto my arm as I giggled at Jonah saying my full name - something he rarely does, a firm placement of my feet on the ground, stopping Jonah and I from moving

"I thought you loved LA so much, Jonah! What's gotten into you lately?" I giggled as Jonah groaned, I know he had mentioned this to me a thousand times before but, I just wanted to hear him say it one last time before we wouldn't see each other for 24 hours

"Kassi! We're getting married on Friday! We're travelling to Virginia as that's where we are having our beach wedding! Don't you wanna get married to me?" Jonah pouted as I giggled, I pulled him into me as I kissed his forehead

"Of course I wanna get married to you, doufus, I just wanted to hear you say it again, as I still struggle to believe that we're getting married on Friday!" I giggled as Jonah rolled his eyes, he should've known that's why I wanted to hear him say it again

"Well, that makes me feel a lot better. Okay, now that we've established that about a thousand and one times, can we get into the van, everyone else is waiting for us!" Jonah wined a giggle leaving his lips as I giggle as well, nodding my head

"Course we can bubba!" I smiled as Jonah exhaled as I rolled my eyes, what a dramatic child I'm marrying to

I thought, "Heaven can't help me now," nothing lasts forever but this is gonna take me down.

I smiled the whole drive to Virginia, I just couldn't help but think, Heaven, can't help me now. I know nothing lasts forever but, marrying my best friend is going to honestly take me down and have me in a dream-like Heaven for the rest of my life and, I'm so down for that!

"You alright Kassi?" Jonah asks as I hum to him with a small nod

"Uh-huh," I hum with a smile as I rest my head on his shoulder as he chuckles - giving me a little kiss as Corbyn continues to drive

He's so tall and handsome as hell! He's so bad but he does it so well!

It's so evident that there is a height difference between Jonah and I, a major one. I'm only just touching 5'4 and Jonah's 6'1 so, yeah, the height difference is enormous but, who cares? Oh, have I mentioned how freaking handsome Jonah is? He's also a little naughty, I mean if you catch him at the right time. Especially when he's drunk, he'll break a table or two and he'll swear like a sailor in a firetruck with the sirens flashing. It's kind of hilarious as, he isn't like, criminal bad but, he's like, when he wants to be, an immature bad. But, damn, Jonah does it so well! I'm in love with him and, that's all that matters!

I can see the end as it begins, my own condition is...

There is absolutely no point in lying or denying the fact that both Jonah and I can see the end of our married lives as it's only starting to begin, however, I only have one little request on the night of our wedding on Friday evening...

"Whatcu thinking about, baby girl?" Jonah asks, kissing my hair as I see Corbyn roll his eyes in the rearview mirror as I giggle

"Just... stuff," I trail off as I smile at him as he nods his head

"As long as you're okay!" He hums as I smile at my fiancee

Say you'll remember me, standin' in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe.

Due to our wedding being in the early evening, at the timing of saying our 'I Do's' and vows to be exactly when the sunset hits, I want him to remember me in my nice, pretty, boho beach wedding dress as we stare at the sunset before our first kiss as husband and wife. Just imaging that as I stare out of the van window as we almost reach our destination of Virginia for our wedding, I can't help but smile and become overjoyed with happiness and excitement.

Red lips and rosy cheeks, say you'll see me again.

As I flashback to Jonah and I's first kiss, I think about how red my lips were due to my lipstick and how rosy Jonah's cheeks were because of how much he was blushing. Man, that fourth date was the best thing ever. I couldn't ever think to forget that day for the rest of my life
