Y/n's pov.

" Ow " I flinched when Gene lightly tap on my thigh where the fresh bullet wound is from this morning.

It's been a few weeks since the incident, Cassie and Nat made it which I am glad.

" Don't move " he said and grab the new bandaged, he wraps it around the wound.

" How do you know so much about medical things? " I asked.

" I'm a survivor, I learn a lot of things on my own " he said, I pressed my lips into a line then flinched when he puts too much pressure.

I hiss and he pause for a second looking up at me.

" I'm fine " I said, he finishes and put the bloody cotton pad aside next to the small bowl of bloody water.

" You have to be careful sometimes " he said.

" I'm never careful " I said, he snickers.

" Not surprise since every time I'm with you, there's only one word you write over your forehead " he said.

" And that is? " I asked.

" Recklessness " he pinches my nose and I yelp rubbing it, I pout with a whine, looking away with red cheeks.

" You need more training " he said and grab another cotton pad, putting alcohol in it,

" I graduated Bounty Academy " I said.

" But how are your grades? " He asked and rub the alcohol on my temple where the cut is.

" I still graduated " I said.

" Uh-huh " he sass and when he was done treating my wound, throwing the cotton swab with the other bloody ones.

" What a coincidence that I'm home alone and you knew that I was out bounty hunting again " I said.

" Wasn't exactly a coincidence, we were in the hunt together " he said, I sighed and he pulls his chair closer to me.

" I just wanna know who they are, they almost killed me and my girls, I just want to rip them apart " I said.

" They definitely have a high skill in combat " he said.

" I heard a few other Bounty Hunter's were killed as well, I want to find who these guys are " I said.

" I do too " he said.

I stand up when he pulls me down.

" What? " I asked.

" Where are you going? " He asked.

" To my room. . . .? " I furrow my eyebrows at him.

" Your not walking there " he stands up.

" Then how am I supposed to- " I shriek when he picks me up bridal style.

I panic and ended up wrapping my arms around his neck, lifting my body up a little, turning my face to him, we're really, really, really, really.

" Hi " he said feeling his breath against my cheek.

" . . .hi. . . " I said in a soft voice which is high pitch and unexpected for me to have a really high voice.

I pressed my lips into a line then look away after that tone of my voice, I can tell he's smiling while my cheek is all red like a beetroot. He walks out of the kitchen with his arms still under my body, carrying me up the stairs, I couldn't help myself but lie my head on to his shoulder.
