Y/n's pov.

" So he's not your boyfriend? "

" Not anymore " I said then pick up my phone to see the 20th missed call.

" They had no choice when they set the fire, it was probably their last resort " he said then put my phone down.

" They attempted to kill my dad, how can I possibly be with him right now and the worse part is that I told him to lose my number " I said.

" So what do you want to do now? " He asked.

" They said he survived the fire, I wanna look for him " I said.

" How are you going to do that? " He asked, I see my cigarette is already short and nearly gone.

I throw it to the ground then step in it with my boots, extinguishing the flame.

" I guess I have to find him on my own " I said.

" You know if they find out, they're going to stop you " he said.

" I don't care, I want to see my dad " I said.

" If your going to find him. . . . " He extinguish his cigarette.

" I'm coming with you "

" Marcus don't " I turn my head to him and he turn his head to me.

" You've already given me the things that I wanted and it's already enough, you've done enough. . . " he sighs as he look away.

" Let me do something for myself " I turn my head back in front of me then look up at the crescent moon.

" I don't know how you survived these past year without me " he said.

" I just do " I slowly get up and stretch my body.

I exhale and see him getting up from the ground as I brush the dirt off me, I pick up my M24 hold it as we both turn to each other.

" So you think I'm just going to let you go by yourself? "

" The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who's going to stop me " I walk away and down the small path.

I see my truck and I walk up to the back of it, putting my M24 inside along with my Vector which was not used at all.

" Y/n "

" Leave me alone " I reload my M24, then put it in the crate.

" You know this is not a good idea "

" I don't care, for 12 years I thought my father is dead and now he is not so I am going to find him " I said.

" It's a suicide mission if the other Shadow Knights know your searching for him- "

" He's my father! " I scream then turn to him with my Vector pointing at his face.

He takes a step back, looking directly at my eyes.

" For 12 years I thought I lost everything! " I shout.

" I made a lot of mistakes, that includes you leaving in a horrible way, and now, I fell in love with another guy who attempted to kill my only family " tears stream down my cheeks.

" It's either you want to back up or die at this spot right now cause your not stopping me to find my father " I said.

He looks down then step back, I turn around then put my Vector in my truck, securing them in place.
