Y/n's pov.

I run through the woods with my boots stepping on the grass makes a crunchy sound, going in between the tree, I look to my left at the bottom of this hill to see Laurence there running and he sees me in my mask and a tree was in my view, as soon as I pass it, my boots slide against the ground when he's out of my sight.

I take off my M24 off my back as I kneel down and look through the 3x scope, looking around the area, he's out of sight.

" Damn it " I lower my sniper.

I stood up.

" Guess Katelyn was right, he's really fast " I said and walk away to the direction where I was running away from, I jump off the hill and land on my feet not making that much sound.

I turn around to where my last sight of Laurence was and I take off my vector, I change the scope from 2x to 4x, I kneel down on one knee then look through the scope and right at a tree, not long enough I see him walking out of the tree looking up at the hill I change the burst bullets to single shots.

I was about to fire when bullets was fired at him that is on a suppressor, Laurence started running again to the west, I look up at the hill where the bullet was coming from and I gritted my teeth when I see a familiar person.

Gene.

He stood up from the ground and turn to me with a smile, I stand up and scoff.

" You are so annoying " I walk off to the west and before that I hear him running behind me.

" Go away " I said as I change my 4x to 3x and my M24 is now 6x.

" Hey come on now, I wanted to help " he walks with me on my left.

" I don't need your help, your help basically made my target run away, I almost had him " I said and hang my M24 on my back.

He then grabs it.

" Hey! " I turn to him.

" I wouldn't pick vector if I were you " he said, I grab it from his hand.

" It's not your choice to make " I said and put it back on my back.

" And if you don't mind I have to go " I walk away.

" Oh come on, I did hit him on his arm " he said.

" That's it? " I asked.

" I wounded him so you can kill him yourself " he said as he place his UMP45 over his shoulder.

" I am not planning to kill him " I said.

" Then why are you chasing him?, He's on the bounty list and your a bounty hunter, why wouldn't you want him dead " he said, I stop in my tracks and turn to him.

" Your not a bounty hunter, so why are you here? " I asked.

" I. . . . " he lost his words.

" Your face is the only thing I have seen for the past three days " I walk forward and he backs up.

" Ever since day one we met, you have always been getting in my way, just because I was nice to you when we were in that locker room, doesn't make us friends and we will never be " I said and his back hits a tree.

" Are you following? " I asked.

" M-me?, W-why would I? " He asked.

" Your stuttering, this is a waste of time " I said.

His face expression then changes into a smirk and sexy look as he cross his arms across his chest.

" Can't daddy just watch his kitten do her work? "

My eyes widened as I can tell my face went red and my hand slap him across his face, I groan in disgust. I turn around and run away hearing him laughing, I continue to run until I was deep in the woods toward where Laurence.

I slow down and I just walk while paying attention to my surroundings, using the scope of my vector, I look around when I see a leg just on the ground, I move a little to the left and see Laurence sitting down against a rock with a bleeding arm and blood trickling down the side of his head, panting.

He's hurt.

I approach him and when I was close enough he turns to me and away to run, I shot his shin, he screams in pain holding his leg.

" Your already wounded enough so I won't kill you " I said.

" You hunted me down, why wouldn't you kill me? " He asked.

" Because you owe someone an apology "

~ Time Skip ~

I toss him on the ground in front of Katelyn as she sit down on my gaming chair.

" Hey, we met so soon? " Laurence look up at her.

Katelyn pick him up by his collar as she stood up and pin him to the wall.

" You got me into this! " Katelyn shouts, I walk away to my armory closet, putting back all my guns and ammos.

" You were going to punch me so I duck and you hit the guy behind me, wasn't my fault! " Laurence said.

" You also hit the girl next to you then ran while I was being hunted down! " Katelyn said.

" Don't say that like I wasn't hunted down by your friend here which by the way your pretty " he watches me as I shut the door behind me and I lock the door.

" You were on the bounty list, so I took the opportunity " I said.

" The only reason she didn't kill you is because so I can kill you myself! " She raise her fist and I grab her forearm.

" You both didn't really committed a serious crime since I heard the stupid story between you two, I wanna try to prove you innocents so you both can free and good to go " I pull her away from him.

" How are you going to do that? " Laurence wince holding the wound on his arm.

" First of, you two need to fix your friendship " I said.

" She's/he's not my friend " they said in unison.

" When your in my house you are " I grab the med kit and pass it to Katelyn.

" Just clean his wounds, I'll go get you some food, I'm sure your hungry ever since you were hunted down " I walk out of my room then shut the door behind me, I approach the stairs about to walk down when I see my parents at the bottom looking up at me.

" He's not my boyfriend " I jump off the railing and make my way to the kitchen.

" Why are you bringing these people your hunting down into the house? " I hear dad asked as I open the cabinet, taking out a pot.

" They didn't committed a serious crime instead it was just them fighting over-I didn't hear what they say, but it was stupid " I take out ingredients from the fridge.

" So? " Mom asked.

" So " I grab the knife.

" I'm going to try and clear their name out of the bounty list to prove their innocents then they are free to go " I start to slice the carrots.

" What are you making? " Dad asked.

" Food, he's probably starving since he was hunted for the past two days " I said.

" Let me help " mom approach then start the stove.

" Need something dad? " I asked since he is quiet behind us.

" Honey just go and do your work " mom said.

" If you want to talk to me about marriage it's not going to work, you saw what happened last time " I grab another carrot then start to cut it.

I hear him sigh.

" It's better this way " I said.

" If that's what you wanted "

Yes, that is what I wanted. . . . .wait what?
