Chapter 31: in which it all falls in place

Oh lord, you should have seen their face.

I bursted out laughing and looked back at my mates perfect face.

"That was not nice alpha, scaring them like that" I heard a sweet little voice say; I turn around to see mel and jared holding hands.

When mel saw serenity laying unconscious in my arms she ran up to us.

I bent down as she placed her hand on serenity forehead and her eyes turned white.

"Melly are you okay?" her mate asked holding her shoulders, we were both scared as we watched.

First sign of weakness: mate.

Second sign of weakness: fear.

My enemy's will use this against me if they where to ever find out.

Mel let go and held onto her mate sobbing.

Wait what the hell happened?

"Mel?" I said softly and went to touch her but jared growled.

"Alright! ok, come find me when you're ready" with that I walked into the front room sitting down with my mate laying on me.

She still had no woken up and I knew I had to do the waiting game.

So I did what any waiting mate would do.

I watched Netflix.

Serenity's P.O.V

I was was standing face to face with a man that looked like me but not like my father.

I've never seen this man before In my life.

"My dearest serenity you know better then to sneak of all alone, defiantly when there's a war" he said but I saw worry in his eyes as well as proudness.

"W-who are you?" I asked feeling he's warms I stepped forward.

"Me? my dear that is not important just yet, I need to give you a message" he said pained.

"What is it?" I asked in a whisper.

"They want the key, that's why the war is beginning" he said making me freeze.

"No! they can not have mel, I took her in for the gods; raised her as if I was her mother I will not let anyone take her" I growled.

"We know" was his only reply.

His face then fell and he's eyes filled with tears.

"Are you Okay?" I asked again in a whisper.

"My dear the war has arrived"

I shoot up, hitting my head on something.

Fûck muggles!!

No more Harry potter for me.

Swear dripped of my body and my breathing was unsteady.

"Baby?" my head snapped to my mates voice.

I found him sitting there, looking at me in worry.

I forgot about everything from earlier and just threw myself into his chest sobbing.

This is not fair.

The war has come to quickly I don't think I can leave my mate.

I put my hand over my belly and sobbed harder.

I'm having a baby.

I can't do this.

God this is going to be hard.

I've come to the realisation that I was born to die, but yet the words I've heard thousands of times ran through my head.

Is dying my fücking reward for the good I've done!

Okay not the time for jokes but honestly it wre-ecked me!!

I can't die.

I don't know if I can leave my mate now, back then it was easy I was protecting my pack and mate.

But now I have a human/wolf pup in my stomach I don't think I can kill him.

When I do die my pup has to come with me how cruel is this world.

A/N

This chapter was called a bet and the final sign but I liked this one better.

This is really good for me. Come on I deserve a clap.

So my partner is asleep next to me and his friend has past out two, leaving me in my own watching my ghost story.

Updating this books with only 9% battery left in my phone because I'm two lazy to go across the room to plug my phone in.

I'm all for this book right now.

I feel like after updating I can't bloody stop.

I swear if I carry on like This, I will end up finishing the book tonight.
