Elijah laid Mackenzie down on the bed gently. He sped back and forth from the bedroom to the bathroom with a wet cloth, wiping away the blood off her face. Her heart was beating steadily, and it seemed she had only fainted due to the enormous amount of energy she had used during the transfer, but he couldn't help but worry. He watched over her for a few minutes, until he heard his siblings call for him from the living room.

Klaus just stood there, at first. He hadn't believed in Mackenzie. But he certainly believed now. Elijah suspected he didn't want to give himself false hope. But, eventually, after the initial shock came and passed, he went to embrace his little brother, whom he thought he'd never see again.

"Bloody hell."

The three brothers turned to find their sister standing on the steps leading down the living room. She too looked baffled, as if she were seeing a ghost.

"She bloody did it," Rebekah breathed out as she sped towards her brother, hugging him tight, as if to make sure it was really him, as if to make sure he'd never leave again.

Rebekah came back from the island grieving the mortal life she would never have. She had needed time to forgive her siblings who had plotted against her to kill Silas. She had needed time to understand it was for the greater good, and she wasn't sure she had completely forgiven them, especially Klaus, who never supported her plans of becoming human again after a thousand years of being a vampire. She stayed away, if only to spare herself from seeing Klaus gloat over her failed plans for a mortal life. But, as she finally checked her voicemails, she had rushed back home to see it for herself. Her big brother raised from the dead.
