" where are you? " his voice sounded determined and stern.

sofia stopped talking and answered straight where the entertainment building was located. she could imagine how enraged kun must have been just by hearing his voice through the phone.

kun sighed, before saying " be outside in exactly fifteen minutes from now. " and then he hang up.

sofia faked a smile and returned the phone back. " thank you, mr. edward. "

lucas seemed to realize something. he decided to ask her a question about the phone call, wondering whether everything's was fine. sofia's face looked sorrowful but she lied by saying that nothing's wrong and that she just needed to go home so everything would be over.

before heading outside, she once again thanked both of the fake staffs she met that day, hoping that they would indeed help her struggles by confirming the show's attendance. they were going to follow her outside but sofia said that it was better for her to wait on her own.

with that in mind, they waved goodbye and sofia walked out of the building. five minutes later, kun arrived and he saw sofia was already waiting in front of the building by herself. he expanded his black umbrella, slowly heading towards where the girl stood.

sofia lifted her head to see kun standing just in front of her. " ge! " her face showing both guilty and happiness to see kun. then she hurriedly walked and stood next to him under the umbrella. kun didn't reply her small talks as they both were walking towards the car.

sofia noticed kun who was still in his working suit, just thinking how burdened he must have felt. he didn't even think about changing her clothes. he also went to jaemin's house this evening, asking the boys lots of questions but still ended up getting nothing from. feeling desperate, he drove back to the university, went to sofia's favorite coffee shop, and a park near their house but nothing seemed to light up any of his searching.

the trip home was horribly silent, each time sofia said something, kun didn't reply, even with a single look. he glanced to her semi wet clothes, noticing some mud stains scattered all over her but he just kept quiet.

as soon as they're home, sofia went inside to clean herself. she soaked herself in warm water and thought that she must talk with kun since she didn't want this quiescent to continue even worse. all she needed was to find the perfect moment when kun's anger was not at its peak.

just as she stepped out of the bathroom, kun was already sitting in the living room in front of her. " sofia, " the girl was startled to hear him calling first, emerging her plan.

she hurriedly walked towards the living room where kun was, " yes? "

he tapped the seat next to him for sofia to sit, " sit down. "

before kun said anything, sofia suddenly hugged him. " ge, i know you must be really worried and i am so so sorry for not thinking before i act, please forgive me? please? " she closed her eyes as she buried herself inside kun's chest.

kun faintly smiled and hugged her head back, mildly caressing her hair. " as always, still the same sofia. " he said before kissing his sister's head.

" kun-ge...? "

kun's heart began to pound as sofia held both of his hands tightly. " you know i love you right? " she said. " i really really love you. " she continued, her pupils were dilated as they looked up to meet kun's.

the man couldn't express how glad he was to hear those words coming from sofia herself. especially because they never had any chance to speak heart to heart, always showing love through bickerings and teasingly joked at each other. that night, kun could feel the sincerity from sofia's heart. to the point where he thought it might be the perfect time to confess what he had been hiding for years.

he shed out a tear when sofia continued to hug him tight, he couldn't think clearly anymore. " i love you too sofia, i love you more than you could ever imagine. "

his minds were filled with happiness but also distressed. he didn't know how to keep up with his own emotions building inside of him. he knew it was wrong and that he shouldn't continue his forbidden loving for her. but each time he tried to erase this feelings, it grew deeper instead. there was nothing left for him but to accept that he loved her more than just a sister.

even though he knew that it was wrong to have feelings for her, he couldn't help the way he felt. despite the fact that they weren't biologically related, he knew that seulgi would never accept their relationship.

kun had tried to ignore his feelings for sofia, but they only grew stronger with time. every time he saw her, he felt a pang in his heart. he longed to tell her how he felt, but he was too scared of what might happen. he couldn't bear the thought of losing her or causing a rift in their family.

sofia smiled gently, looking up while she's still wrapped in his arms. " you forgive me, right? "

kun thought for a moment and then smiled mischievously. " well, there is one thing you can do to get my forgiveness, " he smirked, his hand reaching out to tickle her side.

sofia squealed and tried to squirm away, but kun kept tickling her until she was laughing uncontrollably. " okay, okay, stop! " she gasped between giggles.

kun finally relented and let her catch her breath. " there, that's how you can make it up to me, " he said, grinning at her.

sofia smiled back at him, feeling grateful for the playful moment they had shared. she leaned in to give him a warm hug, and kun lovingly kisses her cheek, showering her with affection.

in that moment, his heart was heavy with unrequited love. he knew that their relationship would never be anything more than what it was, but he also knew that he would always love sofia in his own way.
