Thoughts she could no longer bear
Out to the world she laid them bare
Innocence stolen by the demon bear

She recalls fondly when she was younger
How she used to call for her big brother
Now a monster she wants him no longer

Facing herself in front of the mirror
She doesn't see the girl of her dear father
But the abused victim of her tormentor

She sealed the words and tears until all would be over
Ashamed she told no one to not worry nor bother
Not wanting to see the tears of father and mother

Who's to help her out of her life terror
No one can see in her eyes the horror
To be this shatered she never asked for

Picking scattered pieces up from the floor
She prays for a day she will open the door
To spread her wings to the sky and soar
