Dawn breaking through the dark night

All awakening with the bright daylight

Groaning in protest to the blinding sight

Getting up and ready, dagger left, sword right

Ending all preparations for the fight

Rebellion of a desperate revoked knight

Sullied upright by unjust ruler too uptight

~¤~

Antagonised king just didn't want to part

Not with his sole princess of his heart

Dear daughter of his soul never to be hurt

~¤~

Foolish father king should know better

Either favorable or not didn't matter

As no army nor castle could restrain love

They would only torture the poor dove

Her soul rekindled with its other half

Everything about her world realigned itself

Readying to plea father or flea the ruler

She adorned feathers concealing a dagger

~¤~

Opening the doors to the final masquerade

For even the king knew his own charade

~¤~

Love can't be ordered nor follow any order

Overprotectiveness will just cost his daughter

Vile possessiveness would kill his successor

Ending his silliness, he wished for a future

Reign of a grandkid with him as the mentor

Such a lovelier view than his lonelier crown
