Tomorrow

Oh my dear family brethren
Please take a pause to think then
What did father want for his children?

Why did it seem he ran every morning
Always doing labour or something
Never taking time vacationing?

If you don't understand nor know
Then you didn't listen well, so
Let me tell you now though

He lived always looking for the morrow
But do you know what's in his tomorrow?
It's you and me, brothers and sisters!

Now did you hear that? Understand?
That's why he so desperately wanted 
Us to find our way in life to make a stand

~¤~

For we now have some, and he once said
One day awhile back not so long ago
"Your time is over" watching as lil' feet go

~¤~

Because now we each have a tomorrow
And that is also why he insisted for us
To love, share and support each others

~¤~

All so we could keep going on and protect
Those precious gems as he would expect
Each to take after him for his project

~¤~

Do you comprehend him then and now?
That's his whole life's efforts and meaning
Please come stand by me and take a vow

Let's make dad live through in heart, yes
Also in mind but mostly above all else
In our living with the next of the nest
