1995: The biggest year of rising popularity for a band called Sunset Curve and it's members Luke, Reggie, Alex, Bobby and the lone girl Natalia. Playing at the Orpheum Theater was a dream for this band of misfit teens, but was cut short for 4 of the...

"Guys, I wanna go somewhere," Luke said, looking around the room at the other three of his bandmates. Reggie was sitting with his legs hanging around the arm of a chair, strumming his bass. Alex was still discovering things in the loft, trying his hardest to pick things up, even though he was struggling. And Natalia was laid out on the couch, scratching words down in her songbook. Luke wandered over to the girl who sprawled herself out on the couch, huffing at the fact that she was incapable of writing a song right now.
"What are you doing?" He asked curiously, sitting on the arm of the couch where her brunette head rested, peering down at the scribbled out lyrics in her book.
"I have no inspiration. I'm having songwriters block big time." She admitted, groaning as she rolled over onto her stomach as if that would change anything.
"Well then, let's go get inspired. All of us." Luke insisted, and suddenly Natalia was sitting on the roof of a building overlooking the Los Angeles sky. She recognized where they were as soon as she looked down at the bustling city streets.
"You really brought us back here?" Nat questioned Luke, looking over at him unamused. She furrowed her brows in Reggie's direction on the other end of the roof, his shirt missing from underneath his leather jacket. She decided not to question it, it was Reggie after all.
"Yes. You need inspiration, and it's so easy getting around now." Luke replied, lightly hitting her shoulder.
"Easy for you maybe, I lost my shirt on that one!" Reggie commented, showing the 3 of them his bare chest. All of a sudden, his shirt poofed back onto his body, taking Reggie by surprise. "Oh, nevermind there it is!" They all chuckled, looking out at the skyscrapers in the distance.
"Okay, so, going back to Nat's comment earlier, why did you bring us here?" Alex asked, looking above him at the lit-up Orpheum sign. "Just wanted us to have a painful reminder of what we never got to play?"
"Yeah, thanks Lukey. I'm so inspired." Nat said sarcastically, making Luke huff in annoyance.
"Chill, hun. The game isn't over yet." He responded, and before she could even blush at the nickname (even though he always called her that) they were forced to poof down to the sidewalk by Luke. "I'm telling you guys, we've been given a second chance. Let's find some music, let's see how many clubs we can hit before sunrise!" Luke exclaimed, making the rest of them follow his fast-paced walking from excitement.
"Yeah, let's do it!" Nat exclaimed, then noticed Alex wasn't running next to her anymore. She stopped, turned around, and saw Alex standing like a deer in the headlights in the middle of the sidewalk. "Alex!" She yelled, and he turned around slowly. "You coming?" The girl was confused as to why he was just standing there.
"Uh.." He began, looking back in front of him to see who the mysterious man who bumped into him was, then back towards his female bandmate when he couldn't see the man anywhere in sight. "Yeah, yeah." He said, and ran up to where she was. She smiled at him, wrapping an arm around his waist as they crossed the street with Luke and Reggie.
