Zachaeius' POV:

"When will you visit here?" I asked Trevin on the phone connected through video call. Pagkalabas namin sa hospital, bumalik na rin siya sa ibang bansa kung nasaan si Phoebe "Maybe some other time dude. Kamusta na si Stella pala and si Vannie?" he asked back and I smiled at his question. "They're fine dude, thank God."

Napatingin ako sa labas ng mga building at huminga ng malalim. "You look happy again. Do you think your love story will have a happy ending this time?" he asked and for a moment, I was gone mute. "I'm still not confident that things will be fine dude. Nangangamba pa rin ako lalo na kapag naaalala ko ang deal namin ni Avani," saad ko na kinakabahan na.

"What deal?" tanong niya. "We had a deal. Kapag babae ang anak niya, pwede siyang pumasok doon sa isang kwarto sa bahay ko. She says she have all the rights to do so because she's my wife at kung anong meron ako ay kaniya," nag-aalala kong saad. "So what's bothering you? Wala ka naman sigurong tinatago there sa kwartong iyon right?" he chuckled that made me sigh.

"The thing is, kahit may tinatago pa ako doon na bagay that is from our past o kahit wala man akong tinatago doon, time will come that she'll know everything dahil wala ni isang sikretong hindi nabubunyag," I said sadly.

"Enough with such negativity dude, I'll be going now. Everything will be fine okay? Just give me a call whenever something bad happens which I hope nothing bad will happen. Have a good day ahead," he bid his goodbye and ended the call. Sana nga walang masamang mangyayari.

"I'm home." I entered the house at nakita si Dawn sa living room na pinapakain ng dog food si Jax. We smiled at each other and I went upstairs.

Una kong pinasok ang room ni Stella and there's my daughter, peacefully sleeping on her baby crib. I kissed her on the forehead and entered the master's bedroom where I saw my wife brushing her hair in front of the vanity mirror.

"Oh hi!" she greeted with enthusiasm at lumapit sa akin habang hinuhubad ko ang coat ko. "How's work?" tanong niya pagkatapos akong bigyan ng halik sa labi and helped me loosen my necktie. "Tiring, but seeing you now made me stress free," I mumbled and she halted.

"Why?" I asked. "Wala lang, I felt a bit sense of deja vu. Don't mind me." Pinagpatuloy niya ang paghubad ng necktie ko at ako naman ay pinagmasdan ang maganda niyang mukha.

"Nga pala, pumarito kanina sina Anthony at Nine. They bought toys for Stella," aniya. "Oo nga, sinabihan nila ako kanina na nandito sila." sambit ko pabalik. "Himala ngang hindi siya umiyak around them. They carried her around the house at panay tawa naman siya."

I gave her a hug and caressed her hair. "Really? How about you? Anong naganap sa araw mo?" pagtanong ko habang patuloy na nakayakap sa kaniya. "We had an online meeting at pumunta din dito si Miles para ihatid ang mga pipirmahan kong papeles. Ayun oh, hindi pa nga ako nangangalahati." She pointed at the table in the corner with a stack of papers on it.

"I love you," I whispered beside her ear and hugged her even tighter. "I love you too Lauv," she replied that made me smile but the smile that was glued to my face disappeared when she started talking again.

"Remember our deal Lauv. We'll be going there this weekend," aniya. Kahit kailan talaga ay hindi niya malimutan ang bahay ko. There's nothing special about that locked room, or maybe there might be.

"Of course. No p-problem at all," I said nervously and stuttered.

Friday came...

"Dawn? Akyat ka dito please, tulungan mo muna ako." I heard Avani calling Dawn from upstairs. "Opo ma'am," sagot naman nito. "Dawn teka!" I called her as quiet as I can para hindi ako marinig ni Avani. Pinalapit ko siya sa kusina kung nasaan ako habang ang hintuturo ay nasa gitna ng labi ko.
