Chapter Twelve

Well, she really got me with the spell of her adorableness.

Somehow, I remained still and shook my head at her. No. I'm dead serious, and I swear no for skiing. I mentally say to myself.

"Please," Ophelia said softly while she wrapped her arms around my waist to lean in closer to me with only a breath away. An anticipation shiver sent down my spine of our closeness as she lifted her face to my eyes level and added, "We will be safe and I will look out for us."

Ophelia's voice was one of my weaknesses, but I was still standing for my ground. Frankly, I was afraid of doing this. I closed my eyes and shook my head at her once again.

"Please, baby please?"

I could feel she was bouncing in front of me, and her sweet voice was so convincing. I felt her hands cupping my face and I effectively opened my eyes. It was a little too late once I saw her adorable puppy eyes at me.

"Please, this is one of my wishlists to do this with you," Ophelia pleaded once again.

"But, I won't risk my spine for this," I pointed out.

Ophelia laughed heartily and she seemed like thought I was ridiculous. I was always careful and didn't like to risk anything threatening my life and troublesome others since I knew Ophelia had experience in skiing.

Ophelia was heaving after a long laugh and she leaned in closer to my ear and whispered, "After this, I will do anything for you and I'm all yours for tonight."

I couldn't help but swallow harshly and the heat radiated my body in the low temperature of weather after her nice offer. No, it wasn't a trade! We were a couple for God's sake.

"Fine, fine, fine. Let's do it. You don't have to trade yourself for me to do this with you. I will do anything for you, alright?" I started rambling and I was shocked at what had come out of my mouth.

Ophelia was gaping at me in astonishment. In a few beats, she squealed as she smooched in me before hugging me in a tight hug and bouncing in excitement, "Thanks, baby!"

I couldn't help but chuckle at her adorable gesture and I pecked the top of her head and teased, "So, are we getting ready now?"

She quickly drew away from me and grinned, "Of course! Let's get going!" she quickly took my hand like afraid I would change my mind anytime as she quickly walked us toward the counter.

"I seemed like dating a kiddo, huh?" I teased again.

Ophelia looked over her shoulder and stuck out her tongue at me and winked, "But, you like it."

I chuckled as I rolled my eyes at her in return as she happily took me and lead the way.

"God dammit!" I laughed after I fell and fully implied the gravity to the ground like a magnet. I was not lying that my butt was hurt after I fell a few times. Don't get me wrong, Ophelia did her great job of taking care of me, but I was too clumsy to fall.

Ophelia was extending her hand toward me and I could only see her adorable lips grinning since half of her face was covered with the helmet and glasses. But, I could invent her beautiful green eyes were gazing at me softly.
