Last Day of Summer

Start from the beginning

"I want you to help me this time, please?"

"Alright, we'll come,"

"Zack, you can help me if you want,"

He smiles, "I'd love to,"

"We'll get lunch at the food court, and then go shopping," Sarah says

"Good, I'm already hungry," Luke says

"We still have like 3 hours until we can eat lunch,"

"I know, I didn't have time to eat breakfast this morning,"

"I didn't eat either, I woke up late," Zack says

"We better go in before we're late,"

"I guess you're right,"

We walked through the doors of the church through the lobby. Asher and Josie were standing by the doors to the gym.

"Hey guys," Josie says

"Hey, Josie," Sarah says

"I'm so glad you're back,"

"I've missed you guys, but it was fun to go back to North Carolina for a few weeks,"

"I'm glad you had fun,"

"I'm just glad to be home, and I'm excited to start school tomorrow,"

"Me too, but we still have to go school shopping after church,"

"That sounds fun,"

"You can come if you want, the boys are coming with us too,"

"I'll invite Asher, I want to get a few new outfits for school,"

"We can have a triple date before youth group tonight,"

"Come on girls, The service is starting soon," Luke says

We walked into the youth room and I sat down in the back row next to Zack

"There you are," He says

"Sorry, we were talking to Josie,"

"It's okay, I'm glad you got to see her,"

"She's coming with us to the mall too,"

"Oh, that's cool,"

"Good Morning Everyone," Pastor Evan says

"Good morning,"

"Couple of announcements for today, Tonight we will be meeting at Sailor Park for a cookout, games, and fun, and Fall weekend is coming up, It will be October 16-18, You can sign up after youth service today and pick your cabinmates,"

"I have information sheets about it, That I'll put next to the signup sheets," Grace announces

"Worship band please come forward and we'll worship together,"

I sat and watched as everyone worshipped together, Today I just felt like sitting in God's presence, Ever since camp, I've started to feel his presence more and more.

"You okay?" Zack whispers

I nod, "I'm okay,"

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm just sitting in God's presence,"

He smiles, "I'm glad you can feel it,"

Pastor Evan gets back up on the stage, "Today, I wanted to talk a little bit on fear,

This can be a scary world. There are unknown tomorrows, unmet needs, concealed uncertainties, and a host of other unknowns that trouble adults and children. As frightening as they may be, there can be a comfort for Christians when facing these fearsome barriers. God's hand on their lives should assure them nothing will happen to them unless God wills it for their lives or desires it so He will get the glory. Some of the many "fear's not" in the Bible should encourage the believer that God will comfort us when we face:
