There was a hand squeezing mine when I woke up, a neck brace around my neck as I groaned, looking around to see the most confused Caitlin and Cisco I'd ever seen. I looked down to see Cisco squeezing my hand.

"How?" Cisco spoke first as I frowned at him. "How are you not dead? Or-Or paralyzed?!" He asked as I looked down at my feet, confused.

"I don't know, because nothing happened to me?." I whispered as I reached for the neck brace, ripping it off.

"Cora you need to sit-"

"How long have I been out?" I asked as everyone looked at each other. "How. Long?"

"Two months."

"I MISSED CHRISTMAS?!" I yelled as everyone flinched, eyes wide. "Dammit!" I said, dropping back into the bed.

"That isn't even the worst part. . ." Cisco muttered, a look of betrayal on his face.

"What is worse than missing Christmas?" I said, crossing my arms.

"The fact that Barry is in a morgue and there's a dead guy there, but he's claiming he was there last night." Cisco said, adding a 'pfft' to the end as I frowned.

"Guys I'm um. . . I'm coming back." Barry said through the comms as I immediately shot up before Caitlin could shove me back down, running to the middle of the Cortex in time to see Barry run in, along with Dr. Wells a few seconds later.

"Barry!" I exclaimed as he smiled at me, running up and hugging me tightly whilst lifting me high into the air. After Barry set me down, he turned around, frowning at Dr. Wells like something was wrong.

"I have a question. How did I fall into a coma? Because last thing I remember was being at Mercury Labs with you, Barry." I said as he turned around.

"Must be amnesia." Cisco and Barry said in unison, causing Cisco to eye the boy in the red suit suspiciously. The next few sentences said, Barry said in sync word for word, getting even more suspicious glances thrown his way.

"Mr. Allen. A word." Dr. Wells said as Barry and him walked into the treadmill room, my arms crossed as I frowned at Barry.

"Do you think Barry has gained a new ability? Say. . . Mind reading?" I suggested as Caitlin and Cisco shook their heads.

"Not possible." Cisco said, turning down the assumption quickly. After a few short minutes of silence, Barry came walking out, a saddened look in his eyes before his eyes caught mine, and instantly, his whole mood changed.

"Want a ride home?" Barry asked as I gave him a wary look.

"I don't know, Bar. I-I just woke up and- WOAH!" I was now in my bedroom, spinning around to see Barry in normal clothes.

"Barry! Caitlin needed to run tests! I just woke up from a two month long coma! I can't have you speeding me around like I'm a bat outta hell." I said with a scowl as he gave me a strange look before he. . . Smiled? Why was he smiling I just yelled at him?

"Cora, sit for a minute will you?" Barry said as I shook my head.

"No Barry. I may have just gotten out of a coma, but I'm tired. Please, go home we can talk tomorrow." I said with a frown as Barry's mood changed once again, like his heart had just been shattered.

I felt a small stab to the heart at his sudden expression before I shook my head, gently pushing him out of my apartment.

"We can talk tomorrow over coffee after we are done at the morgue, okay?" I suggested as Barry started to protest.

"But Cora-"

"Goodnight, Barry." I said before quickly shutting the door, running a hand through my hair before trudging back to my room.
