"What'd you think?"

Taylor's words rang through Karlie's ears before her mind flooded with every moment she's spent with the singer. Their first encounter played in her head vividly as she remembered the moment she first saw the singer. She remembered the way she couldn't keep her eyes off of Taylor's shy and awkward self.

Flashback

Car bar 3:00 pm- where are you??? The meeting already started

Karlie looked down at her phone in a panicked state. The model had a late flight back from Milan and to make matters worse she was sitting in a cab stuck in traffic while she was supposed to be in a building one block away.

Giraffe lady 3:00 pm- I'm stuck in traffic but I'll figure something out just stall for me, please?

Car bar 3:01 pm- I'll stall for as long as I can but hurry

Karlie nodded down at her phone before making a rushed decision. She pulled out several bills and handed them to the driver before thanking him and stepping out of the car. Karlie began to run, she ran through the cars until she got to the sidewalk where she ran a block only to finally arrive outside of the tall building.

"Run, Karlie, run," Frank, the security guard, yelled when he saw her enter through tinted glass doors. Even he knew how important this day was.

"I'm trying Frank," The tall model replied trying to catch her breath before continuing on her way.

Karlie dashed through the hallways of the building trying to get the meeting. She was already late to one of the most important meetings she would this year. The CEOs of Victoria's Secret were holding a meeting to go over all the details for the fashion show that would take place in a few weeks.

Finally, Karlie had reached the meeting room. She took a moment to even her breathing and fix her short hair before entering the room just as one of the CEOs was asking for her. She could see Cara about to say something and it made her smile slightly. Karlie could always count on Cara when she needed to.

"I'm so sorry I'm late, I had a late flight coming back from Milan," Karlie said as she walked further into the room. Cara had saved a seat for her between herself and Lily.

"It's fine, just stop getting here late. You have a job to do, so do it right," The CEO grumbled out. Karlie found the situation comical. Despite being scolded in front of everyone, the model had a smirk on her face.

She allowed herself to look around the table before her green eyes landed on a new face. She couldn't believe the singer was seated at the table, neither could she believe that she was laughing. Taylor looked up to meet her eyes for the first time before instantly stopping her laughter.

Karlie was intrigued. The entire meeting her eyes drifted back to the shy singer seated near the head of the table. She took note of how her blue eyes moved across the room quickly in order to keep track of who was who and what they were in charge of.

"I saw you laughing," Karlie spoke as she followed Taylor out of the meeting room. The meeting had finally ended after almost two hours of boring details as Cara liked to put it.
