If ya don't mind I'd like some book recs!
I'll tell you my reading preferences, and if anything pops into your head go right ahead and comment it, of course these are just guide lines, and it's pretty much impossible to find a book with all of these, so just focus on one or two of them!

Here's my preferences:

•My favourite genre is modern fantasy/supernatural, but I'm open to all of them

•I vastly prefer standalone books, or at least nothing longer than a trilogy, this is because I have trouble focusing on a book for more than 3 pages per sitting -I haven't finished a book in literal years.

•I love found family! Heck, any family!

•For some reason I prefer older (like 20+) protagonists to teens, ESPECIALLY in romance. I'm not a huge fan of puppylove books but two mature people falling in love is certainly captivating!
Also I have nothing against a romance sub plot or main plot, my fanfic habits make that a bonus for me. Fluff and slow burn really captivate me

•I literally just want them to be fun filled is that so much to ask

•I love books that are character oriented. Plot is great and important don't get me wrong, but I could easily trade a complex plot for complex and lovable characters

Books I've read recently, so you can get an idea of my taste:

•Alex Rider: Stormbreaker. 8/10, maybe even 9/10, but I can't commit to a series that long, at least not while I still struggle with reading. Spy genre was surprisingly fun?

•The Tale Of The Body Thief. 7/10, Anne Rice's writing style and characters are amazing, but she tends to ramble on and on, stretching a short story into a very long book. Also I like vampires.

•Unwind. 0/10 the worst book I've ever read. I've considered writing essays on how much I hate it.

•The Mysterious Benedict Society (1). 7/10, good- very good! But a little outside of my genre.
