That Summer

I know this episode is focused on Miyuki and I kept that to the most part...but I decided it was time for everyone to learn about Hikaru.

Hikaru and Akira walked to the tunnel out looking the field so they could talk without being heard.

“So you’re at Seido?”Akira asked looking at Hikaru’s uniform

“Yeah, as Mr. Sawamura Hikaru.”Hikaru replied with a smirk “Left fielder and regular since you really wanted to know that.”

Akira laughed loudly,

“Ah man, they think you're a guy? Yuuta would blow his lid if he knew! So would Toshiro after they laugh .”Akira said

Akira froze once he mentioned the two senpais he knew….Akira looked to Hikaru and saw how her smile had changed and she wasn’t looking at him anymore.

“Their game was a lot like ours today wasn’t it?”Akira asked

Hikaru looked back at Akira.

“I don’t think anyone planned for that game to go like it did…but I won’t fall into the same position as  Yuuta-nii did.”Akira said "Or like Toshiro-Nii."

“You almost did.”Hikaru replied

Akira froze, then he saw the smirk growing on Hikaru’s face.

“You twerp!”Akira yelled grabbing Hikaru in a head lock.

After giving Hikaru a nuggie he let her go.

“Have you or your cousin heard from Yuuta-nii or Yoshiro-nii?”Hikaru asked

“Last thing Ryu heard was that Yuuta’s family had indeed moved to America and well Yoshiro had moved to countryside. It seems like he is taking care of his grandmother.”Akira said

“So they did run from baseball…”Hikaru said looking at the field

Akira looked at Hikaru then at the field.

“Che. And they said not to follow in their footsteps.”Hikaru replied

Akira smiled sadly and replied:

“I don’t think you’ll follow in their footsteps.”

Hikaru looked back at Akira.

“what do you mean?”Hikaru asked

“You love Seido. I can tell, not only that but your bull headed brother wont let you quit.”Akira aid

“Yeah, Eijun Is bull headed.”Hikaru said
