Hikaru walked into the back of the dugout and got some water.  He looked to see Kado up to bat. Hikaru sat down and whipped the sweat off his face. Then he slipped his hat back on and went to stand by the others. Haruichi saw Hikaru coming and made a spot for him. Mei threw his first pitch to Kado and Kado surprised Mei and bunted it. The bunt was solid and enough to help Furuya advance to third, but Kado got out.

‘Two outs and runner on third….’Hikaru thought

“Nice, Kado” Jun said as the boy walked back to the dug out

Wakana was confused on what had just happened.

“Seido did a sacrifice bunt?”Wakana asked “Are they giving up?”

“Hikaru-Oniisan once told me by putting a runner on third, you can score even with an infield hit.”Kota said

“The battery also needs to be careful of passed balls.”Tetsumi chimed

“Hikaru-Oniisan also said, in baseball, putting a man on third can put pressure on the other team. “Kota said

“Kota, with what training Hikaru has given you, who do you, think will win this game?”Eitoku asked

“Honestly?”Kota asked

“Yes.”Eitoku replied his eyes not leaving the field

“Inashiro…Seido can win, but they have to play differently.”Kota replied

Shirasu walked into the batter’s box.

“SHIRASU!”Jun shouted

“DO IT!”Kuramochi shouted

‘Out of all of Shirasu is probably the most balanced batter.’ Hikaru thought

Furuya inched off third base, Shirasu prepared himself… Mei threw his first pitch and Shirasu didn’t even swing. However, it ended up with being an out.  Mei’s next pitch flew close to Shirasu’s face. This pitch ended up in a ball. Shirasu starred down Mei, sweat poured down Shirasu’s face.  Mei threw his third pitch.  It was the pitch that Shirasu wanted.  Shirasu hit the fastball and it bounced. Shirasu took off and so did Furuya. Shirakawa ran for the ball and grabbed it in his glove.

“GO!”Everyone shouted

Shirasu knew he had to make it to first before the ball did. If he could then Furuya could make it home and Seido would be back in the lead. Shirakawa threw the ball to the first baseman, but Shirasu couldn’t be the first one to make it.

“OUT!”The umpire yelled

Inashiro fans went crazy…while Seido realized they had to protect from scores.  Shirasu ran back into the dugout.
