Ugh. Who the fuck is texting me at 9 in the morning on a Sunday?
I hastily opened my eyes, and I snatched my iPhone off of the nightstand table.
My scowl was immediately replaced with a smile when I saw the name.
Milo: Hey, do you want to go to the park that is by campus? 9:07 A.M.
Milo: Sorry if I seem too clingy. It just feels nice to have a friend for once.
9:08 A.M.
Me: Sure, what time? And also you are not clingy. I can guarantee you that. I am also in desperate need of a companion.
9:10 A.M.
Milo: :) How about in forty minutes? 9:10 A.M.
Me: Aight b. 9:12 A.M.
Milo: Quick question, why do say b? 9:13 A.M.
Me: No reason. 🙃 9:13 A.M.
Oh, how I was giddy with joy.
I recklessly got out of my bed, almost tumbling down in the midst of it all, and I went to take a shower.
After a while, I got out and tossed on the quickest outfit I could find.
It consisted of a black Micheal Kors long-sleeve shirt tucked-in, khakis, and white Nike AF1's.
Was this a date?
No, no, I do not believe so. Was this just not a friendly gesture initiated by Milo? Right?
*Ding.*
I carelessly yanked my iPhone out of my jeans pocket, which led me to mess up my shirt tuck.
Milo: I am coming. 9:50 A.M.
Hmm, the wrong selection of words, boy.
I will assess his innocence here. I speculated to myself smirking.
Me: Really? Send a picture, ;) 9:50 A.M.
Milo: 9:51 A.M.

I clicked off my iPhone and put it back in my jeans pocket.
I sprinted as fast as a barracuda out of my bedroom and into the living room.
I unlocked the door, and I stood in front of the porch waiting for Milo to come.
