YG Entertainment has given out details regarding BLACKPINK's Aster's upcoming solo debut!
On September 5, the agency unveiled a "credit poster" for Aster's first solo release. The poster reveals that Teddy wrote the lyrics and co-composed together with Aster herself the music for her upcoming solo debut track titled "Fancy." The famous producer has worked closely with BLACKPINK since their debut in 2016 and has been involved in the production of their entire discography. This is also Aster's comeback as a composer and producer since pre-debut.
Aster will be unveiling her new single "Fancy" and the accompanying music video on October 6. She will also be performing the song for the at the SBS Korea Music Festival on October 9.
YG Entertainment announced as well, together with the details about Aster's solo debut, about the company's plan to make solo debuts for the other members. The agency also revealed that Jennie will follow Aster as the second member of the group to release a solo track.
