Astrid barely slept a wink that weekend only thinking of her mother's devastated face, her father had called work explaining he would be late every day until Drago was caught so he could drive Astrid to school, when Astrid asked why he said, "Drago does not care who stands in his way even if it's just a 16 year old witness so you ain't walking". Astrid struggled to understand what he meant, she'd of course heard of men this ruthless but only in stories and movies, but this wasn't a story, this was real life, and there was a criminal in her town so dangerous kids where no longer walking in the streets alone without their parents, both men and women avoided going out after dark and police had already started patrolling Berk for the criminal.
By Monday Astrid walked inside the building after her father had dropped her off at the gates like all the other kids, the halls where filled with murmurs as into questions about Drago like who really was he, what did he do that was so bad, some people started a rumour that Drago had built a dragon empire to take over the world which no believed yet people still spoke of the rumour as if trying to change the actual horrifying crimes into a fantastic that could only be found in a movie, yet there was one group of teens hiding in the shadows not wanting to be seen especially one of them who had been shaking in both fear and sadness all weekend,
"It's gonna be ok" Fishlegs tried to reassure but Hiccup only shook his head,
"He killed him and now he's free" Hiccup whispered Fishlegs looked at the twins worriedly sharing the both scared expression for their terrified friend so they did the only thing they could think of, they hugged Hiccup tightly,
"We'll always be here for you" Fishlegs smiled,
"Yeah H your like my brother" Tuffnut grinned,
"And if we ever face Drago I'll kick his balls so hard the rest of his bloodline even in the grave will feel it" Ruffnut bumped in sternly yet comfortingly, Hiccup smiled slightly,
"Thank you guys.. for everything, your all the best" the 3 teens smiled wider and hugged the auburn haired boy tighter.
