Charlie's POV
I sat on the sofa alone watching tv while drinking a Diet Coke, I looked at the can and remembered when I would only touch a can if it contained alcohol inside, I shuddered at the memory of my past, I looked up at the tv which was blaring some cowboy movie, I loved watching them, I suddenly see in the corner of my eye someone sit beside me, I turn and see Hiccup who is sitting watching the tv,
"Hey" I greet softly,
"Hey" Hiccup replies turning to me,
"You wanna watch this?" Hiccup replied to this with a shrug, I smile, he was a nice boy had a kind heart, his past was something of cruelty and pain, I wouldn't of blamed the boy if he was cold and mean but instead he hid his pain and was kind and gentle... just don't ask him to many questions.
"What movies you like?" I ask, Hiccup chuckled and looked down sheepishly,
"I like dragons" he lightly smiles, I grin back,
"Cowboy and dragons!" I exclaim, Hiccup looks at me confused,
"What?" He asks tilting his head slightly like a confused puppy,
"That should be a movie! Cowboys riding dragons" I grin waving my hands in exasperation, I forgot the coke in my hand till it slightly spilt on the floor, Hiccup chuckled,
"Yeah that'd be something" Hiccup grinned leaning back in the sofa suddenly Toothless strutted into the room, "hey bud" Hiccup greeted to his furry companion, the dog run his head onto Hiccups hands before putting his paws on the sofa in a position showing he was about to jump up, "ah ah, no bud no jumping up unless Charlie says so" Hiccup orders ruffling the dogs head, the dog put his front paws back on the floor then looked to me with his big green puppy eyes, I rolled my eyes playfully,
"Ok fine get up ya overgrown puppy" the dog replies by licking my hand and diving on the sofa then cuddling into Hiccups side, I smiled softly before a loud bang of the front door knocking was heard...
