the door creaked open softly, Charlie peered through the door, Hiccup sat on his bed still not looking at him, Toothless lay on his lap looking at Charlie with obvious concern for his owner. Charlie opened the door more so he could enter before closing it and approaching the teens bed and sitting down, he placed his hand beside Hiccups, "Hey" he said,
"Hey." Hiccup mumbled,
"you ok?"
"mhm"
"it's ok to be scared"
"I know"
"you wanna talk about it?"
"no.."
Charlie sighed knowing he'd get no where with this,
"lunch is ready in 5 minutes" he smiled grabbing Hiccups arm gently before standing to leave. Before he could turn to leave he felt a hand grab his and he turned to see hiccup holding his hand but looking not at him but Toothless,
"thank you" Charlie smiled ruffling Hiccups hair,
"your welcome".
They sat/stood in comfortable silence before a clash was heard through the house,
"YOU MORON!"
"IM GOING TO RIP YOU IN HALF!!"
Charlie sighed,
"that'll be the twins.." he said heading to leave smiling as he he heard Hiccups quiet chuckle from his bed.
Everything would be fine.
