Hiccups POV
It was after school and Charlie had picked up Astrid again and driven her home, when I got back I asked Charlie if I could go to the Park and Charlie agreed as long as I got back at a reasonable tome where I could get my dinner which I agreed too
Time Skip
Normal POV
Hiccup sat in the empty park by his house drawing Toothless you was laying asleep peacefully beside him, Hiccup bit his lip while drawing the outline of his best buds fluffy sharp jaw, a sudden shadow flicked over him, Hiccups head raised away from his drawing, Toothless lifted his head as well obviously sensing the same presence Hiccup did, Hiccup turned his head slowly and suddenly the bushes near him russled, Hiccups head snapped to them only for his eyes to widen as a pair of human grey eyes stared back at him, Hiccups eyes widen flashbacks appear from his head as he remembers the last time he saw those eyes,
"Hiccup promise me you'll keep running?"
"Yes dad b-but what about you" Hiccuo panicked, Stoick smiled and stroked his sons face,
"I'll keep running too but you have to keep running even if I stop, Hiccup promise me now"
"O-Ok dad I promise" Stoick smiled and hugged his son tightly,
"Good boy I love you"
Hiccup gasped and quickly got up, the long giant bushes rustled again and this time Hiccup did what he did last time the person behind those eyes was in his life, he ran, ran fast, Toothless bounded along side him quickly keeping up with Hiccup, Hiccup basically leaped into his garden, that's when Hiccup turned around dreading what he'd see
He runs as fast his his legs can carry him, his father screaming "keep going" even if he at all slowed down, you could here the man chasing them laugh, the laugh of a man who could give you nightmares, the man, Drago Bludvist rasped his left arm, cocked the gun, aimed, "goodbye... Stoick"
*BANG*
Hiccup knew his dad was dead but the voice of his father in his head screamed to keep going so that's what he did till he reached a main road stumbling onto a road with his sore legs, suddenly a car beeped, Hiccups tear-stained face raised and his eyes widened as he saw the car come towards him
Hiccup breathed in relief when he saw the street was empty, his house door suddenly opened,
"Hiccup is that you? Are you ok?"
Hiccup looked up at Ingrid frightened and pale, sweat and tears streaming down his face,
"I-I s-saw him!"
