Normal POV
Charlie opened the door and Hiccup stood on the stairs peeping through the banisters to see who Charlie would open the door too, the door opened and Hiccups eyes widened in a mixture of shock and fear, the woman, Valka Haddock stood at the door,
"May I help you?" Charlie asked,
"Yes actually, you could give me my son back" Valka demanded, Hiccups breath hitched, Charlie studied her wiry shape, she had long auburn hair and her face looked very similar,
"Name?" He demanded,
"Valka, Valka Haddock" the woman responded Charlie's eyes widened, and look to the boy who spots on the stairs, Hiccup pushed himself further to make sure the woman wouldn't be able to see him,
"He's not here" Charlie shrugged,
"What?"
"Your son, he ain't here" Charlie responded,
"I was told he was!" Valka said hotly,
"False information miss sorry" Charlie said simply the word slipping off his tongue naturally and easily,
"I know he's here I want him" Valka said angrily folding her arms,
"I'll call the police" Charlie narrowed his eyes,
"You can't do that!" Valka said quickly,
"Actually I can you being a disturbance and on my property and are refusing to leave so please do" Charlie demanded, Valka narrowed her eyes,
"I will get him back" Valka said angrily stepping back,
"Sure" Charlie rolled his eyes, when she left Charlie shut the door and walked half up the stairs and grabbed the shaking boy and held him tightly,
"It's ok" Charlie said gently,
"Sh-she a-aban-doned me a-and now w-want me b-back" Hiccup cried shakily, Charlie held him tighter,
"Don't worry I will never let go, my son" Hiccups eyes widened at this and froze, it took a couple seconds to recover before he melted into the hug, he may have a broken past but his future he knew his future would be better
