Alyssa's POV

"Hey! Alyssa, wake up." I groaned. WHO INTERRUPTED MY BEAUTY SLEEP?! Imma sleeping here.. I (finally) opened my eyes. It's my mom, wearing her dress and her apron. I guess she is cooking breakfast.

"Urgh. What time is it?" I asked my mom. She looked at her pink expensive watch and says, "9:23 AM. Now please wake up..." I went back to my pillows and pretending like I was back to sleep. "Not now, mom... Breakfast can wait." She thought.

"I'm making Fried Rice, Spam, Bacon, And Eggs! With Orange Juice! Your all time favorite breakfast meal!" And I jumped up from my bed and raced downstairs before my mom even said anything.

I sat on our chair while reminiscing the food in front of me. (Alex's Dictionary: This simply means that Alex is enjoying the sight and smell of the food in front of her. Thank you. 50 Pesos please)

My mom smirked when she went downstairs. "So, what do you say now?" I can't say anything mom.. you know that! Oh. By the way. My Dad is STILL at work. He keeps on going to work now, the only times I see him is when I wake up early and sleep late. Hmm, there's something fishy going on...

"You do know that I can't say anything, yeah?" We laughed. My mom acts young cause she is young. Just 27 years old. My Dad, 29.

Okay, so dig in. I'll just watch some TV." She turned on the television and watched some replays of Ellen. "Wait, wait. Don't tell me you are NOT gonna eat?! It looks so yummy and you're gonna miss out?" She shaked her head. "I ate some cookies earlier, got full. Just eat your feast now, don't worry about me." I shrugged. "Oh well, more for me then."
