Stupid tutoring lessons! She had totally forgot about those...

She sighed as the teacher continued to rant about how she thought she could count on her. Marinette didn't care, she didn't want to see Adrien. She didn't want to be one of those toys Adrien got to play with whenever he was bored.

And to think she was actually starting to like him... She stepped out of the classroom, walking down the hall that seemed to be never ending. She just wanted to go home, she didn't know why, but the whole Adrien thing had really impacted her.

He was just acting the whole time? She was beginning to like him... in... a different way. She sighed and set down on a bench nearby. His smile was so warm and innocent, how could she have known he'd be hiding so much behind it? How could she have been so stupid...

Well it was safe to say he had lots of practice since he was a model. He must've been good at fake smiling by now. But every smile he shared with her always reached his eyes... She just didn't understand it. "Marinette we need to talk." Her lips parted and she looked up from the ground.

Adrien stood there, his eyes narrowed and he looked genuine. "There's nothing to talk about." She said, Adrien sat next to her and she scooted away from him. "Marinette... Please don't pretend the night at the party never happened. We almost kissed, before Kagami came in." Marinette glared at him.

"Look Adrien, Kagami told me everything. She found me at the bakery. She told me how you manipulate girls, and she told me she was one of them. She told me she didn't want me to be one of them." Marinette said and Adrien looked down at th floor.

"So you believe Kagami? You trust her? A girl you've only just met at a party who judged you the moment she saw you standing next to me? What if I told you she was just making all that up because she's jealous of you?" He asked and Marinette stood up.

"I don't need this right now. Find someone else to go cure your boredom." She said and walked away. Boredom? What exactly did Kagami tell her? He clenched his fists in anger, he really needed to fix this.

Kagami had expected her plan to work but not so quickly. Once she got rid of Marinette Adrien was already calling her a couple days after. She answered the call, "Yes Adrien?" She said in a sweet tone. Adrien was disgusted at how self centered she was.

He couldn't believe how manipulative and jealous she had been lately. "Meet me at the bridge as soon as you can." Adrien said through the phone, Kagami hummed. "I'm on my way." She said and he ended the call, heading to the bridge.

It took a little while for her to get there, but the moment he saw her he knew why. She thought it was a date, she was wearing a red dress and had a flower in her hair. She expected him to be there with flowers or chocolate, with a smile on his face, but instead he held a grimace and had his arms crossed.

"Hey Adrien, why'd you wanna meet today?" She said with a smile. He had an uninterested expression, taking a step away from her. "Because you lied to Marinette about me being some womanizer." Well that certainly wasn't what she expected, her eyes widened and her smile faded.

This Marinette girl was really getting on her nerves.

"I didn't lie Adrien. I did it for us, she's obviously no good for you. Having you all stressed like this, and if she really trusted you she wouldn't have believed me." She said crossing her arms, Adrien rolled his eyes. "Enough Kagami, you need to tell her you lied." Kagami turned away from him. "Why would I do that Adrien?"

"Because I'm in love with her." He said.

Kagami turned to face with with a frown and widened eyes. "And if you really are my friend, you would've never lied to her for your own convenience. Because you weren't doing that for us Kagami, you were doing that for you. I already told you I wanted to just be friends a while ago."

Kagami felt a tear stream down her cheek, "You're right Adrien. Maybe I'm not your friend." She said, her eyes smearing with mascara as she began to cry. Adrien frowned, "Yeah, I guess not. You've made that pretty clear... " He said, once he knew there was no way she was going to help him.

He began to away from her, casually dipping his hands into his pockets. "Adrien, wait come back!" Kagami called, it pained him to hear her say it like that, but he didn't turn back. He wasn't interested in anything she had to say unless she was willing to admit the truth to Marinette. "Adrien please!" He heard her cry.

Yet he kept walking, leaving behind a heart broken Kagami.

Adrien stared out of his bedroom window, the midnight sky only ever seemed to make him think. It was a full moon, the sky painted with a beautiful sapphire blue and dotted with the brightest stars. The sky was clear of clouds and he was reminded of Marinette.

He wondered what she was doing right now. He could picture her in her cute little pajamas, a smile on those perfect pair of pink full beautiful lips. Maybe she had just finished her chemistry homework and was heading to bed. Maybe she was working on a night sketch or on her computer.

Or maybe she was staring at the moon, like he was. Maybe she was staring up at the sky and wondering what he was doing, or how stupid she was to trust him. And maybe she was, but he hoped he'd still regain that trust back, prove Kagami wrong for lying and finally kiss the girl of his dreams.

He only ever wanted her...
