AT NORTHERN SECTOR, DF Company.
In the middle of a busy day pinatawag ako ni dad sa kaniyang opisina.
"Dad," bungad ko saka umupo sa sofa sa harapan niya.
Sinenyasan niya ang isa naming empleyado na nagdala ng tablet. "Alice, tell me the summary of report between Alkerson and Anarson," utos ni dad sa kaniya. Tumaas naman ang alimpatakan ko sa kung ano na naman ang sasabihin ni dad sa akin.
"Yes sir, as of now 31.5% of the company's shares sided with Mr. Alkerson while Mr. Anarson has 31.3%, if Mr. Anarson will get more shareholders this year, maaari pong mahigitan niya si Mr. Alkerson," report pa ni Alice.
"What the hell are you doing Alkerson! How could you let this happen?!" sigaw ni dad sa akin.
"D-Dad, what's the meaning of this?" tugon ko.
"I raised you to be a competent person, I am expecting more of you, this is just a warning Alkerson, if you can't make a 40% share before the succession, I will be very disappointed," tugon ni dad.
40%? In a year? Nahirapan nga akong makaabot ng 30% sa limang taon lang. Dad's really giving me pressure this time.
"Ayokong mapunta ni Anarson ang kompanya, at alam mo na kung ano ang ibig kong sabihin," dagdag niya.
"Yes dad," ako.
Lumabas na ako ng opisina habang napaisip, last time I checked, 25% pa lang ang nabuong shares ni Anarson, how did he increase it so quickly? Anong binabalak mo Anarson?
Pumunta ako sa opisina ni Mr. Sua.
"Mr. Sua, locate where Anarson is right now," utos ko.
"Mr. Alkerson, nasa Southern po ang kapatid niyo, kasama niya ngayon si Miss Amaranthe," report niya.
Napasuntok ako sa mesa. "Anarson, gusto mo talaga akong kalabanin."
Amaranthe's POV
"So what are you saying is?" diretsahang tanong ko kay Kuya An.
"Invest in my place, mayroon ka namang 28% shares ng company hindi ba? If I can convince more bigger companies to invest edi mas madali natin makuha ang kompanya mula kay Alkerson," tugon niya.
"That 28% didn't just come out of the blue Kuya An, nag-effort din ako nun no? You know how strict dad is, all of us were taught to be business minded. So I just can't waste my money in any way. Lalo na't nasa bingit ng kamatayan ang bulsa ko."
"We all want the same thing, Ame," kombinse niya talaga sa akin.
"If magpapakabait ka sa akin Kuya, I'll give you 5% of my shares," tugon ko din.
"Really?" Abot tenga ang ngiti niya.
"Kung iisipin ko, 5% is already too much no, that's more than half a billion bro," dagdag ko.
