It was beautiful and it was one hell of a diamond. It was oval-shaped and there was an extra band at the bottom. I love it.

When we got home Anna and Maddy were already by the door waiting for us to come in. "Let us see!" was the first thing I heard when Derek and I walked in. I showed them the ring. And they screamed which woke up everyone in the house including the kids. Damien and Dominic came rushing down afraid that the girls were getting hurt just to find they were screaming over an engagement ring. "Seriously girls?" asked Dominic. "What? Look at this beautiful ring" Maddy grab my hand and showed it to the boys. "We know. We were there when Derek picked the ring" said Damien. Both girls let out a dramatic gasp. "You showed them the ring before us?!" both girls yelled at Derek. Derek flinches at their loud voice. "Sorry, girls. But I couldn't tell you just yet" he explains before giving me a hug.
