9. Barbecue

3rd pov

Jin-" HANA! STOP IT! GIVE ME THAT!"
He yelled through the whole yard while chasing Hana. She was stealing food and now she was running with two baby carrots in her hands.

Hana-" Catch me if you caaaaan! Bleeeeeh!"
She teased him, sticking her yongue out.

Jin was stressing about the barbecue. He knows Strays Kids are there too and he wanted to make sure everything is on point.
Everyone was in the backyard enjoying this warm day of summer. Some of them playing soccer, some of them talking at the table.
Jin with Minho were preparing food and Chan with Namjoon were taking care of the meat to be cooked properly on the grill.

Mina, Taehyung, Jungkook and Yoongi were sitting at a table talking about random topics.
Mina wanted some lemonade and Hana offered to bring some. She was in the kitchen with Jin and Minho.
When she saw what delicious food was around there, she couldn't help but steal some of it.
She was running away from Jin with the lemonade in one hand and with some vegetables in the other.
Jin- "Give back my carrots! Come here woman!"
He said annoyed.

Hana placed the lemonade cup on the table and ran away from him, giggling like little kid. She was amused by his reaction over some baby carrots, when  he had a bag full of it.
Everyone was amused by them.
But not Jungkook.

At first he found it funny but his smile faded away and his eyes turned darker when Jin grabbed Hana by her waist while fighting for the carrots.
He clenched his jaw. Jin's hands were on her, holding her close so she won't run away again.

Taehyung saw it and placed a hand on Jungkook's shoulder to calm him down.
Taehyung- "How's your foot, Kook?"
He said, holding back a smile.

Jungkook's head turned to Taehyung and smiled like nothing happened.

Jungkook- "My foot is fine. I've been on my worst before."
Jungkook stuffed some popcorn in his mouth trying not to say anything more.

Taehyung-" You know I saw you. Right?"
He said leaning closer to his ear. He smirked.

Jungkook- "Then pretend it didn't happened."
His eyes widdened for few seconds but then he kept eating.

Taehyung-" I can't. I know you already know her. She's always playfull and funny around us. But don't let that get to you just because is your girlfriend now."
He said tilting his head to the side.

Jungkook- "Yeah. You are right. But you know that I get jealous really fast."
He said with a little pout.

Taehyung- "I know. Remember when I went out and you were jealous all over the social media?"
He said amused.
