07. La carxe

"I think, my brain cells wanna give up already. Gosh! I'm so tired." reklamo ni Kianna.

"Same."

I feel like I'm already near death. I'm so tired. We all are. We weren't able to have a good sleep for like two weeks because of the exams. All the written and practical tests drained the shit out of me. Wala na tuloy akong time para makita si South. Because before the two hell weeks started, I was able to annoy him just by being me. I don't even know why, but I feel like he's allergic to my presence.

"I missed the comfort of my bed." Kianna complained.

"And, I, too." Nakasalampak ang mukha ko sa table habang hinihintay ang mga pinsan namin sa coffee shop. Hindi ko alam pero ramdam na ramdam ko talaga ang legit na pagod. Hanggang buto eh. I just wanna go home and sleep for like weeks.

I don't know for how long I closed my eyes, naramdaman ko na lang na may humawak sa noo ko. Napamulat ako.

"Are you okay?" tanong ni Izaac, hindi pa rin inaalis ang kamay sa noo ko. I'm too tired to even talk so I just nodded at him.

Agad siyang napailing. "Tsk. You're sick. You need to go home and rest."

"You looked so pale. Izaac is right." segunda ni Kuya Xian. I didn't even noticed that they're all here already.

Napasimangot ako. "We still have one last exam. I can't missed it." I reasoned out

"Nah. You can still take another." tumayo si Kuya Alexander. "I'm going to call the family doctor." aniya saka tumayo.

"Here. You should drink some water." Sabay abot sa akin ni Ate Xixi ng bottled water.

I know they're all worried but last na lang 'to eh. Besides, I stayed up all night to study. Sayang naman ang effort ko kung hindi rin naman ako makakapag-take on time.

I sat up straight. I looked at Ate Xixi and Kuya Xian. "Let me take this last exam, please? Ate? Kuyaaaaaa..." I pleaded

"But princess, your health is our priority."

"Sige na po, pretty pleaseee? After the exam, diretso akong uuwi! I promised!" I even raised my right hand as a sign. I heard my kuyas heaved a sigh. Agad akong napangiti.

Bumalik sa upuan si Kuya Alexander. "Fine. But Izaac and Mikael will be waiting outside. You understand?" seryosong saad niya. I smiled sweetly.

"Yes, sir!" sumaludo pa ako.

"Here. Drink plenty of water."

Nang malapit na ang time ng exam, agad akong sinamahan ng dalawa kong pinsan. I left my car in the coffee shop since Kuya Xian won't let me drive for my own sake. Kaya sa sasakyan ni Izaac ako ngayon. While Kianna already left half an hour ago. May kukunin pa ata sa library.

"How was both of your exam?" tanong ko sa dalawa. Sa backseat nila ako pinasakay para daw makapagpahinga pa ako.

"It was good."

"Yep"

At dahil hindi naman kalayuan ang coffee shop, kaagad kaming nakarating sa school. Matapos naming maghanap ng parking area, dumiretso kami sa building namin.

"Give me your bag." utos ni Izaac. I didn't argue as I hand it to him. Kinuha rin ni Mikael ang dala kong dalawang books. Pinagtitinginan tuloy kami.

"You sure you can still take the exam?" May bahid ng pag-aalala sa boses ni Mikael. I gave him a reassuring smile.

"Of course!"

Even though my head is a litte bit heavy. I can still take the exam though. Ngumiti ako sa dalawa bago pumasok sa room. Maya-maya pa ay dumating din si Kianna.
