Weibo Night 2020 Analysis Description and Explanation .

We know a lot of fans were upset back when Weibo Night aired because there was hardly any interaction seen between XZ and WYB. On top of that, XZ seems to ignore WYB most of the night This was a complete contrast to his behavior back at Tencent Award Night Tencent Award Night 2019 was held on 28th December 2019, and Weibo Award Night 2020 was held on 11th January 2020. The time span was about 2 weeks.

What happened between XZ and WYB during those two-week time span to warrant such distance between them that XZ appeared so cold to WYB during Weibo Night? Rest assure that this was not his or their intention. Although this is only our speculation, we will try our best to explain why XZ must behave this way during Weibo Night And if you have a look at the video, there were many sweets moment between them. You just have to have hawks' eyes and analyze everything in slow motion.

Okay, the main reason why XZ behaved like this during Weibo Night was because there were many high-ranking officials who attended. How did these high-ranking officials come into play and affect his behavior so much? Let us explain to you the difference between these two events first before we can dwell into this matter. Tencent Award Night was run by Tencent, a private
company.

Weibo Night was run by the government Tencent loves the boys Tencent is the company who streamed their drama. The Untamed. The boys brought them lots of profit and subscribers. So Tencent would do anything to make us fans happy. Weibo, unfortunately, doesn't care, because it relates to the government.

Remember how we explained that in the entertainment industry, things like BL or boys love is frowned upon. To even take a novel that is
based on boys love like Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation and turn it into a TV drama is highly
impossible, unless they change the whole context of the relationship between the two main characters. And they did. They censored the drama so much that it turns their love relationship into bromance.

But the reason why we still love this drama so much is because of the strong chemistry between XZ and WYB who portrayed WWX and LWJ respectively. As well as the directing style and the producers/ directors. They showed us that when two people cared for each other they don't need to say, 'I love you.' but instead use eye contact and actions to tell the audience that they love each other. Through this action and initiative, the drama's rating escalated so fast that both XZ and WYB became overnight superstars. During Tencent Award Night, they were given the freedom to do whatever they like, act however they want.

And they chose to act like they were during The Untamed filming back in 2018. because this is their innate behavior. They smiled at each other, they gazed at each other. WYB held those looks of Intense interest at XZ and XZ held these beautiful longing gaze at WYB. All of these gestures were what we have seen in the BTS. Fan meetings and all their interviews. They looked and acted so intimate with each other: it was like witnessing two people in love. But that all came to a grinding halt during Weibo Night because of this very reason. XZ, who is older than WYB, had to act responsible. Weibo Night had too many officials. One wrong move and their career could end.

A few years ago there was a Boys Love drama that went on air. It became so popular that the series got cut short and both of the two leads could no longer attend any event together. Ever. This was because the series was based on Boys love Of course, back then there was no censorship, so the relationship of the characters was pure romance. Luckily their careers
didn't end, and they became popular in their own rights. But there were other BL dramas that aired after that drama that made the actors disappeared from the limelight, or another word, their career .

There is also one other important point we want to talk about Fans were also upset as to why some male artists could walk hand in hand together , during the Red Carpet and display affection with each other, but WYB and XZ couldn't On top of that. XZ smiled and acted so polite to everyone that night. Except with WYB. Here's our speculation on this point. Because XZ cares so much for WYB. he had to pretend to ignore him. But the problem is XZ tried too hard and it all came out wrong If they were really just good friends, XZ could have behaved normally: chat, smile. act like what he did with the other artists. But XZ didn't do that with WYB. XZ blatantly ignored him. acted cold toward him. only gazing at WYB when he thought no one was looking.

And it's because of his action here, that we believe that these two have a very special relationship/friendship. Whatever it is he just wants to protect WYB. And sorry for the long post, but we really needed to get it out there and hope everyone now understands that XZ is not wrong. And whatever relationship they may have, either friends, brothers , or something more, we will always support them.Together or as individuals. And that's our speculation and explanation.
