AYEEEE SO WE ALL KNOW what self promotion is, right?
Well, here's something about it:
IT'S NOT BAD TO TRY TO GET PEOPLE TO LIKE SOMETHING THAT YOUVE MADE/ DONE

Like, I was talking to my friend (which you should totally check out: @sidhewriter) and I wanted to tell her about the NEW BOOK I RELEASED, CALLED "ADVENTUROUS" WHICH IS A DANFIC BUT YOU SHOULD TOTALLY CHECK OUT ON MY PROFILE! and I literally said:
"Would self-promoting make me less kind? Because, I HAVE A NEW BOOK!"
Keep in mind that we were fighting about me being too kind all the time.
(WHICH IM NOT, IM AS RUDE AS THE DEVIL)
But, why is it so bad? Apparantly, it's "cocky", but we just want your opinion on our books or projects. If anything, we're complimenting you.
Stop being so rude to self promotion.
