Taehyung POV

I stood outside as I managed to inhale the fresh air that hit my skin. I didn't realise how toxic the air inside that apartment was, but I feel liberated.

I put my hands in my pockets and started walking. It isn't cold, quite warm actually on this spring evening, but I felt shivers running down my body. It feels surreal, I'm single now, I do not have the safety and security of Jennie anymore. I sigh as I continue to take steps, not really knowing where I was going.

I soon found myself in front of the local university bar. I sighed and got inside, I need a drink.

As I walked in, I saw it wasn't as busy as usual, probably because it's not a student night. I walked up to the bar and my eyes searched for Yoongi, needing one of his strong drinks. I sighed in frustration as I couldn't spot him and looked down.

"Need a drink?" I heard the familiar and delicate voice speak, already knowing who it was. I looked up and saw Y/N, looking at me with a sweet smile, probably knowing what's going on. I nodded and she prepared me something, something that seemed quite strong. When she returned, she placed the drink down in front of me and I stared at it.

"It's a special drink I drink when I'm sad, I figured you need it" She said whilst climbing over the bar and taking a seat next to me. I took a sip of the drink, and god, it was strong, but good. I felt the burning sensation go down my throat as I exhaled a breath I didn't know I was holding.

Y/N was examining my face and behaviour before sipping her own drink. It was silent, but not an uncomfortable silence, it was nice. All sorts of thoughts were running through my head, did I make the right choice? Should I have left Jennie alone right now? Should I perhaps check on her? No, don't bother her now, she probably wants to be alone.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Y/N asked me, interrupting my thoughts. Should I? I stayed silent for a little, wondering if I wanted to talk at all. My mind feels so clogged, like something is stuck and it's stopping my brain from working. But once I glanced at Y/N, I admired her features. Her hair was tied up in a high ponytail, probably because she's working. She wore a black outfit which showed off her body, I never realised she had such a great body. I glanced up to her face again and looked into her eyes, drowning in them once again before looking back at my glass.

"I broke up with her" I told her to which she nodded understandingly.

"We were honest with each other and finally communicated, but we realised we weren't making each other happy anymore, it was mutual" I explained. Y/N gave me a sad smile and patted my back. To be honest, I longed for her touch but I knew I shouldn't. Y/N probably isn't even interested in me and I'm not in the right mindset.

"Did you feel like you made the right choice? The right choice for you?" She asked.

"Yeah, I did. I hope we can both now move on and try to chase our own happiness" I stated, making Y/N smile.

"Good, I hope you will Taehyung" She said, taking another sip of her drink. That made me think, she mentioned she drinks this when she's sad.

"Did you make this drink often?" I asked her curiously. She froze, knowing I was referring to the 'sad' part of her previous explanation. She seemed to hesitate but chose to answer my question.
