"Favorite flower?" He asked.

"Hibiscus."

They had moved inside to her bedroom to continue their game. Klaus found it easy to talk to her. She found it easy to talk to him as well.

They both had trust issues, but they couldn't help but feel so relaxed around each other.

"What is the hibiscus tattoo on your hand for?" He asked her.

"My mom had one on her shoulder with her maiden name on it. But I'm not a big fan of needles so I got this smaller version instead."

"Favorite color?" She asked.

"Green. Yours?"

"Orange. Because of Halloween."

"I'm guessing Halloween is your favorite holiday?"

"Yes. Its my birthday. It's so spooky and you get candy and get to dress up."

Klaus looked over to her and watched as she rambled about Halloween switching to French and English. Does she realize she does that? He thought.

Her eyes were twinkling. She looked over to him.

"Écoutez-vous même?" 'Are you even listening?' She asked.

"Pardon." 'Sorry.' He told her.

"What's your favorite holiday?" She asked.

"I don't have one."

"Qu'est ce que tu veux dire? Tout le monde a ses vacances préférées." 'What do you mean? Everyone has a favorite holiday.'

"Pas moi." 'Not me.' He said.

"C'est fou." 'That's crazy.'

"I never really celebrated holidays." He told her.

"Pourquoi pas?" 'Why not.'

"My parents didn't care for them so we just didn't do them."

"That's so sad. When Christmas comes this year we should decorate the house."

"We have a ball every year for Christmas."

"Un ballon? Quelle fantaisie." 'A ball? How fancy.'

"Do you realize you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Switch from French to English?"

"Not really. It just sort of happens. Sorry I can stop."

"No. I like it. I just need to learn more French."

She laughed. She couldn't help but feel touched at the fact that she's going to learn more French to understand her.

"What is your favorite food?" He asked.

"Ooh spaghetti. Or peanut butter. But Harper told me that peanut butter doesn't count. So spaghetti I guess." She rambled. In English.

"Do you have any nicknames?" She asked.

"Well my full name is Niklaus. My sister calls me Nik. People close to me call me that to. But other than that it's just Klaus."

"Can I call you Nik?"

"Your going to be here a while. Sure."

Suddenly she gasped. "Oh mon Dieu!" 'Oh my god!' "Why don't I call you Santa Klaus?"

"That is ridiculous." He laughed.

"It's related to Christmas. Your new favorite holiday. I like the sound of it."

"Do you have any embarrassing nicknames I can call you?" He asked after she stopped laughing.

"Surprisingly, no. There's Deedee, Delia, Lia. That's really it." She said trying to think about other names.

"Come on Cory there has to be other."

She looked over to him with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm guessing that's a new one?"

She nodded her head.

"Then that's what I'll call you darling."

"Wait are you calling me darling or Cory?"

"Both."

She laughed and stood up.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Dansons." 'Let's dance'

"What?"

"Vous n'avez jamais juste dansé pour le plaisir avant?" 'You've never just danced for fun before?' She asked.

"Now why would I do that Delia?"

"It's therapeutic."

She walked over to her phone and turned the music up. Then walked to her bed to dance on top of it.

"Your certainly something love."

"Come on Mikaelson. Untwist your panties, and come dance with me." She said opening up her hands to him.

Klaus didn't know why or how to even explain, but he found himself taking her hands and joining her.
