The family stared at Cordelia cautiously as she made a sandwich. She hummed a tune as she placed her ham on the bread. Klaus leaned over to Kol.
"Are you sure she turned it off?" He muttered.
"I'm positive. One minute she's crying, then next she's- well...this." Kol muttered back.
"What was she doing beforehand?" Rebekah asked.
Kol hesitated and stammered. "Looking at picture of her and Harper. That's all." He lied.
"Why are you all standing around like that?" Cordelia finally spoke.
"Uh, darling? Are you feeling alright?" Klaus asked.
"I'm okay. Made a sandwich." She waved her snack in the air and smiled before sitting down.
"Did you turn your humanity switch off?" Rebekah blurted, tired of stammering.
"I'm not sure." Cordelia had to think. "I don't understand how it works. I just wished to stop feeling... and it happened."
"Maybe...you can turn it back on?"
"Why would I do that?"
"It's just- in most cases, these kinds of these don't work out well."
"I get it. You don't want me to go evil and kill you guys. Which is fine, I'm leaving soon anyways." Cordelia got up.
"Oh good cause we- wait what?" Kol stopped.
"Yes. I've found that you guys are the cause to all my problems. So I'm leaving." Cordelia had a straight face before smiling, waving and walking away.
Rebekah closed her eyes to process what happened and Klaus went upstairs after his love. He found her grabbing jacket and putting it on.
"Are you sure you want to leave, love?"
"Positive. You guys are terrible." She laughed as if it were funny.
"Now why would you say that?" Klaus ignored the small hurt in his chest.
"Well I did die for you. Harper turned into a hunter because of that. Then I killed her for you. And then I suffered terrible depression because of something that wasn't my fault." Then she stopped to laugh again. "I guess it's really just you."
He cleared his throat, "what?"
"You ruined my life, was that not clear?" She turned her head to the side before shrugging. "Anyways...bye."
She walked past him to grab her purse and walked out of the room. David and Alex stood in front of her, each of them holding a child.
"What about them?" Alex said. "They need you too."
"Not really. I grew them for nine months, then gave birth. They're your responsibility now." She patted both their shoulders. "Bye then."
"Cordelia you can't be serious about leaving?" Kol said grabbing her and.
She signed in almost annoyance. "I am serious. Very serious. Relax I'm not going to kill a bunch of people. I'm simply going to wander the earth resenting your brother than I'm alive forever." She shrugged as if it were no big deal. "Have a fun life, Kol."
She walked out and Klaus stared longingly at the door.
