Chapter 19: An Egg!

Drew's P.O.V.
We all left to go to our next lessons. I walked with May.
"What do we have next?" She asked.
"Pokemon breeding." I replied.

At the lesson

We walked into the clasroom. There were a few tables and chairs at the back of the room but the big space in the middle was filled with coloured beanbags and soft pokemon plushies. The teacher stood at the middle of the room. He had brown skin and dark brown hair. His eyes were VERY small.

"Welcome to Pokemon breeding! I'm Brock, your teacher." He said.
"Brock!" Ash and Misty cried. They ran over to him immediately. "This is our friend Brock!" They said, "He's from Kanto too!"
"Cool." I said.

"So. This year we will be learning about how to raise a pokemon well. And what better way to do that than to experience it for yourself?" Brock said. "Ah, here the eggs are now!"

Nurse Joy (Kanto form) walked into the room pushing a large metal trolley lined with fleecy blankets and pillows. Brock took the trolley and started handing out eggs to everyone. "Now be carefull with these. Choose an incubator to put them in. This year we will be hatching them and training with them. Learning how to feed them, groom them e.t.c. and if you do it well they might evolve!"
"Wow!" Ash shouted , "When will they hatch?"
"Approximately the first day of the Christmas holidays." Brock replied.

Nurse Joy started handing out see through incubators with a different coloured top for everyone. "I choose yellow!" Ash said.
"Pale Blue please." misty said.
"Red!" May said
"Green." I said.
"White!" Dawn said.
"Very very dark blue." Paul said.
"Pale pink!" Serena said
"Pastel yellow." Clemont said.
"Purple." Leaf said.
"Light green." Gary said.

I got a brown egg with green spots at the top. Misty got a ghostly grey egg which had a thick white zigzag in the middle. Ash got a red egg with yellow flame shapes at the bottom. May got a light pink egg awith dark pink swirls all over it. Dawn got a pink egg with yellow hearts over it. Paul got a lilac egg with a brown bottom. Serena got a pink egg with white stars. Clemont got a yellow egg with a black zigzag bottom. Leaf got a yellow and red egg. Gary got a light blue egg with dark blue wave shapes at the top.

We all put our eggs away carefully into our incubators. Apart from May who was cuddling hers. "May." I said. "Stop cuddling your egg and put it in the incubator!"
"Nooooo. It's so warm." May said.
"It's so nice and cute…"
"What? Nicer than me?" I asked and flipped my hair.
Msay groaned and stared at me.
"You are so annoying." She said.
"No! I'm not annoying! That's Gary's job!" I said.
"Hey!" Gary shouted. "No, I'm not! It's your job!"
"No, it's your job!"
"No, it's your job!"

"End of class!" Brock shouted as the bell rung. Hurridly, we raced off to our next lesson.

Wooh! That was fun! Who will hatch out of the eggs? Who will get what? As the journey continues… XD
