Gary's P.O.V.
I woke up. It was 6am. I know you're all probably thinking: how is he so amazing that he wakes up at 6?? Well yeh. I know I'm amazing. Leafy tells me I think that too much. She's probably the only person who thinks I'm not amazing. Oh wait, Ashy boy and Misty don't think I'm amazing either. Well, 3 is a small number.
I spent my half an hour gelling and making my hair look awesomely spiky. What can I say? I'm a trendsetter. I then put on my blue jumper and a pair of black trousers. After running a few laps of the back garden at Gramps' house, I left with my suitcase, bag and pokeballs (Umbreon, Electvire and Blastoise) to go to Leaf's place.
"LEAFY!" I yelled.
Leaf's P.O.V.
I was busy toasting buttered crumpets when I heared a voice. "LEAFY!"someone yelled. That must be Gary:no one else calls me that. Ever.
I tossed back my long, straight, brown hair and shouted "ENTER!" Gary strolled through the corridor.
"Hey there Leafy. Are you ready for the ferry?" He asked.
"Yes." I replied, pointing at my suitcase and bag.
Both were patterned with leaves and pokeballs. The suitcase had a name tag on it.
"I've got mine too." Gary said. "I bet your packing skills aren't as good as mine!"
"Well my cooking skills are better that's for sure." Leaf replied cuttingly."Remember when you BURNT orange juice?"
"Fine. You win." Gary groaned in defeat.
"Like I always do." Leaf smirked.
I tossed Gary a buttered crumpet.
"Here, I've had mine already."
"Thanks Leafy."
"Don't call me Leafy!" I screamed
"Whatever."
We walked to Ash's house ( I bought my pokemon of course: Venasaur, Espeon and Megainium)where we rang the bell on their oak front door.
"Look Gary! It's you!" I exclaimed.
"What? A door?" Gary asked confused.
"No, it's OAK!" I laughed.
"Very funny." He grumped.
Hi! I hope you liked these few chapters so far. The exciting bit WILL come up a few chapters later when they go to school. As you can tell, I need to change this book cover but I have no idea how to make one!😰
