Clocked in and got my list of deliveries for the day. Ben gave me a power bar and a bottle of fresh squeezed orange juice to take with me, he knows I'm far from home and don't have my parents near by so he keeps an eye on me gifting me snacks to keep me energized through the day. He's big and gruff and very protective over us bike messengers, with him around we have nothing to fear. I bet he could've been a bouncer in his younger days. "Thanks Ben!" I hug him right before dashing out, heading over to see Sophie as usual I do my runs for them weekly.
"Good Morning Sophie!" I smile as she hands me her tablet for me to check off all the deliveries I'm taking with me then hands me the packages which I store in my sack and strap onto my back. I turn to head out the door and see Mr. Castanho walk in, he smells divine the scent of his cologne mixed with the smell of the coffee he's carrying is intoxicating, maybe it's a touch of his natural manly scent as well that feels so enticing.
He smiles at me "Good Morning Nico, glad to see you're looking well." I blush lightly and dart my eyes to the floor as I feel my furry little tail sway gently in my pants. "Good Morning, yes it's a good day, hope you're doing fine as well." I see his shoes in front of me and look up as he leans in just a bit "Nico, would you consider having lunch with me today?" I can't believe my ears, did he just invite me out to lunch for a second time?

"Mr. Castanho, I'd love to some time, but with today's deliveries I don't think I'll be able to take a long break" I see him frown a little, then his eyes lit up "How about I schedule our lunch later this week? If you don't mind you could let me know when you've got a short day and we can take a late lunch together?"
Blushing, I smile replying quietly "Sure, I'd like that." He asks for my number and texts me a reminder so I can save his information. I don't have any time to spare so I wave and run out to my bike. I feel as light as a feather, gosh is this real? Why is such a handsome man even talking to me? I don't know but I'm totally willing to find out. I zoom across the city with a bounce in my step at every delivery. Another great day in the life of me.
Lunch time comes around I've only got about 15 minutes to eat and take a break before heading out so I pass by Maria's shop for a sandwich, verify my schedule with her and head back out after finishing my apple. I'm about to head off for my next stop when I get a text, "Thinking of you, be safe, see you soon. -Leo" I squeal and smile as I text back "Looking forward to it" short and sweet. I'm pressed for time but my heart is a flutter. I smile as I peddle faster, who needs energy drinks with a hot guy like him keeping in touch?!
