Calum Hood (& Ashton Irwin) imagine PART TWO

So yeah, what Calum was actually thinking was that he was falling in love with you, & all he simply wanted was to just talk to you just as much as Ashton was...

But he didn't know how to tell you.

I mean, you guys were close..ish.. With Calum, Luke & Michael; but Ashton was still & was always gonna be your best friend. Honestly, you felt a bit awkward around the other boys, especially if Ashton wasn't with you guys.

So while you're at home doing some work, the boys are wherever they are on the tour; & Ashton & Calum are talking...

C- "So Ash....are you uh, gonna Skype Y/N later today?"

A- "I dunno, maybe if I get time I will, why??"

C- "Cool, cool. Just wondering..."

A- "Wait.......you still have a crush on Y/N don't you?"

C- "Uh... Kinda?"

A- "What dyou mean kinda? You either do or you don't, Calum."

C- "Okay....I think.... I think I'm falling in love with her man, I've never felt this way before.... & idek what to do about it!"

A- "You're in love with Y/N? My best friend?? Well tell her, obviously."

C- "But how?? She doesn't talk to me, she just talks to you.."

A- "That never stopped you from jumping into our calls, Calum haha"

Ashton can see that Calum is genuinely afraid of telling you his feelings for you so Ashton sighs with a smile, "Alright, fine. Look, I'll Skype her tonight okay? & then you can tell her, yeah??"

Calum bites his lip & nods slowly, not entirely sure if he's making the right choice or not.

*skyping to Ashton that night*

Y/N- "So, how's your day going?"

A- "It's good! We had rehearsals today & then we met some fans, went out to eat....yeah that's it really"

Y/N- "How're the rest of the boys?"

A- "They're great, not complaining anyway haha yeah they're all around here s--"

C- "You talking to Y/N?"

A- "Yeah, come join us!"

You roll your eyes as you hear Calum approaching. For once, you just wanted to talk to Ashton, without Calum...
Not in a mean way. Like, you liked Calum; you thought he was cute, funny, sweet, attractive....but yeah...

Calum sits on the sofa beside Ashton, grinning to the camera, "Hey Y/N!"

You smile back, "Hey Calum"

You weren't totally sure, but you swear you saw Calum's cheeks blush...

The three of you talk for a bit & then Ashton says, "Right, take the laptop Calum because I need to go pee"

Your eyes widened as Ashton was no longer seen in the laptop screen in front of you, just Calum.

There was a bit of a silence which caused you to giggle, causing Calum to ask nervously, "What's so funny?"

You smile, "Nothing, you just look really cute"

Yeah. Calum's cheeks were definitely blushing now as he grinned nervously looking down.

Then your phone went off. You pulled it over & saw it was a text from Ashton. It said: "Y/N. He's gonna kill me for saying this but Calum likes you, like really likes you. He has for some time now. Idk how you feel about him but go easy on him xx"

What did he mean by 'go easy on him'?

You stared at your phone for a minute; so maybe that's the reason why Calum always joined in whenever you were talking to Ashton....?

You put your phone down slowly & said, "Sooooo what dyou w-"

You were cut off by Calum speaking over you saying, "Sorry Y/N. But I really need to get this out, dyou mind??"

You shook your head replying, "Sure, what's up Calum?"

Calum stared at you for a moment & then said quickly, "Okay here goes. Y/N. I uh, I really like you. Like, to the extent where I actually think I'm falling in love with you. I've like you for a while now & I never knew how to tell you, bc it's not like we're as close as you & Ashton are so I never knew how to. But yeah, so would you consider maybe going out on a date with me??"

Your eyes widened as you listened & watched Calum talking, nervously fiddling with his fingers & brushing his fingers through his hair.

So that's what Ashton meant...

You haven't said anything for a few minutes now, which causes Calum's nerves to increase as he watches you, waiting for a response.

But all you were doing was simply debating how to answer - yes or no?

You did think he was attractive, he's sweet, he could be fun to go out with...

You smiled, "Awwwh, wow uh... Alright.... Calum.... I would love to go out with you."

Calum's eyes widened with shock as he asked, "Wait what? You'll go out with me?? Seriously??"

You giggled, "Yes Calum, why not? I'd love to."

Next thing, Calum was grinning from ear to ear, causing you to grin back.

Just as Calum was about to reply, Ashton jumped onto the sofa next to him giggling like a little girl, "Awwwwwh my two best friends going out yaaaaaay!!"
