Shiro traveled with Beelzebub to his region and Kenshin carried Hibanika back to the Kijin kingdom. After placing Hibanika in her bed he is now standing outside of her room along with Omadu.
"I thought that Beelzebub and the princess were the only beings with such extraordinary capabilities. Then here comes a being... Whose very presence alone can change the tide of war. Not to mention the other one who went off with Beelzebub... None the less I... I owe you a great debt. May I ask, who are you?" Omadu
Kenshin leans back against the wall, crosses his arms and gathers his thoughts.
"Ten years ago... A young boy decided to go out for a run. He'd, pretend he was a giant snake as he sprints around the trees. He'd pretend he was a monkey as he jumped from branch to branch and swung from vine to vine... Until he made it out to the cliff.... The cliff where he would sit and cry as he thought about his sister who had died because of him.... Then... Out of nowhere that boy hears a cry for help... A red demon was chasing down a little girl. She tried to fight back as she fled but was too afraid to focus her power so the boy jumped in and easily took down the demon. Afterwards the young boy and young girl started to talk and became comfortable with each other's company.. Then... Her elder brother frantically comes through the portal, thanks the young boy and carries his youngest sister back home." Kenshin
The moment Omadu heard that last part his mind immediately went into a tailspin. His thoughts flowed into him like a tsunami and he is unable to speak. Kenshin pulls back the top half of his mask, then pulls down the bottom half to reveal his face and gives a gentle smile.
"Ten years is quite a long time General Omadu. How have you been?" Kenshin
Omadu drops to his knees and presses his head to the floor.
"Once again. You don't need to do that." Kenshin
"I already owed you so much the first time you saved her... I said that I owed you a great debt. And here you are once again coming to the princess's rescue while simultaneously stopping a war. There is not enough time in a single lifetime for me to repay you." Omadu
"Pick your head up General." Kenshin
Omadu slowly picks himself up and faces Kenshin. Before another word is said they both feel a burst of energy they both are quite familiar with. The doors to the bedroom are blown off of their hinges, slam into Omadu and pins him against the wall. Kenshin swiftly moved out of the way and stands to the side with his arms still crossed as he stares at the doors pinning Omadu. He turns his head to see that princess Hibanika is awake and easily kicked down her bedroom doors. She also is still partially naked.
"..... Nice entrance princess." Kenshin
Hibanika averts her eyes to notice Kenshin and keeps her glare on him.
"And just who might you be?" Hibanika
"Um.... You should probably cover up first." Kenshin
Hibanika blinks a couple of times before she looks down at herself. She forgot that her kimono was torn and didn't bother to put on a replacement. She pauses for a moment then glares at Kenshin with great malice.
"What?" Kenshin
Magic circles appear around Hibanika and the chains slowly appear and shoot out after Kenshin.
"Whoa!" Kenshin says as he quickly leaps backwards.
A couple of chains impale the ground where Kenshin was standing and the rest follows him as he performs multiple backflips. The last chain impales the ground and Kenshin stops his backflips.
"I will not tolerate perverted fools!" Hibanika says as her chains retract to the magic circles they came from.
"I completely sympathize with that but let me-" Kenshin
"Serpent Chain: Web Of Shadows!" Hibanika says interrupting Kenshin.
A massive number of Hibanika's magic circles appear along the walls covering nearly the entire area from Hibanika to Kenshin and further down. The steel chains appear out of each circle an shoot out at light speeds.
"Typhoon!!" Kenshin
Kenshin quickly uses his Soaring Blade technique with Jiyu and is able to cut the chains in his vicinity to pieces. Hibanika is a little bit surprised but keeps her focus.
"I don't think she want's to hear you out." Jiyu
"Understatement." Moeru Joo
"... Honestly.. If I wanted to be thanked this way I would've hung around that overgrown popsicle dressed like a Samurai... Alrighty then." Kenshin
Kenshin draws out Moeru Joo with his free hand and holds Jiyu directly up. Winds instantly begins to gather around Jiyu.
"It seems that you have some skill. Let us see just how long you can survive against me! Serpent Chain: Relentless Hunt!!" Hibanika
Magic circles appear around Hibanika and steel chains immediately shoot out. They move like snakes through the air as they avoid the other chains and head straight for Kenshin.
"Soaring Blade 2nd Form: Jaw of The Dragon!" Kenshin
Kenshin swings down Jiyu directly in front of him. The wind that gathered around him turns into the shape of a dragon and it heads straight for Hibanika. Each chain that the wind dragon touches is cut to pieces and that includes Hibanika's Relentless Chain technique. Hibanika is stunned and is unable to react in time as Kenshin's technique makes it right in front of her. Hibanika closes her eyes and guards her head with her arms. To her surprise she just feels a gust of wind that pushes her backwards a couple of inches were she bumps into something that stops her motion. She slowly opens her eyes, notices that she is unharmed, turns and sees that she is pressed against Kenshin's back.
"I really hope you didn't call me here just to skewer me Ani." Kenshin
Hearing Kenshin call her that causes Hibanika to react with great disbelief since she only ever heard that name from one person.
"Wh.... What did you call me?" Hibanika
Kenshin sheaths his swords, turns to face Hibanika and gives a gentle smile.
"I called you Ani. That's the nickname I gave you remember?" Kenshin
Hibanika's eyes begins to gather tears as she finally realizes who stands before her.
"... Mifu.... Is it really-" Hibanika
The doors that Hibanika kicked suddenly falls to the ground showing that Omadu was forced through the wall and crashed into the other room.
".... Omadu?" Hibanika
"Yup." Kenshin
"........" Hibanika
