Sigma remains in shock for the next couple of seconds before he snaps out of it and realizes that he needs to act quickly. He pulls out his sword and tries to reach for the collapsing female but is quickly reminded that he has no time to do as he wants because of the sudden kick to his left side from Geostep. He is sent flying into a counter breaking it upon his landing.
"D-Did he just drive his sword through the hostage?!" Officer
"Seriously? Are we even watching the same fight? Sigma was obviously to into the fight to notice the switch at the last second. A rookie mistake if you ask me." Allana
"It doesn't matter now. We have to get her out of there." Adrian
"If you have a way to get in there and get out without being noticed then by all means." Allana
Sigma bursts out of the rubble and heads straight for Geostep. Sigma swings his crimson sword mid way and sends a flying slash attack directly at him. Geostep teleports out of the line of fire to the left side just out of the flying slash's reach. While Sigma is still in the air Geostep teleports and appears right in front of Sigma. The moment Geostep teleported out of the flying slash's trajectory he had quickly sheathed his crimson sword and positioned himself in a soaring blade technique. Sigma sprung into action the moment that Geostep used his ability to appear in front of him.
"Hunting Ground!" Sigma
Sigma passes Geostep in the air with his sword partially revealed out of the sheath. A long and narrow slice wound opens from Geostep's right shoulder down to his lower stomach. Blood only splatters from the wound the moment Sigma fully sheathes his sword right after he lands. Geostep lands on one knee immediately feeling the effects of the attack. The next thing Geostep knew he begins to feel a growing burning sensation coming from the wound until a fire suddenly starts from it. Geostep hesitates for a spilt second before he uses his ability and makes a quick escape. Sigma waits for a moment before he drops to his knees and takes a deep breathe.
"Um... Did he win?" Officer
"Really now? We going in?" Adrian
"Yeah lets...." Allana cuts herself off the moment she hears a familiar motorcycle get closer and closer.
An all black custom made motorcycle with Sigma's insignia on the side of it is driven towards the scene by Kaguya better known as Night Stalk. She speeds in, performs a 180 emergency stop in front of the bank and removes her helmet. She rushes inside and comes to a complete stop quickly examining the scene. She quickly makes her way over to Simga with his head held low in the same position. She places one hand under Sigma's chin, gently raises his head, carefully lifts the top part of his mask to only reveal his eyes witch meets her own.
"Are you alright?" Night Stalk
Sigma doesn't answer. Rather he averts his eyes towards the collapsed female. Night Stalk follows Sigma's eyes, waits a moment, gets up and makes her way over to the female. Night Stalk instantly notices the mark on her stomach. During the fight, Moeru Joo took it upon herself to heal the wound that was inflicted since it was done by her sword. The wound that Sigma made has been sealed but the shock rendered the female unconscious. Night Stalk picks the female up and carries her outside. The officers on the scene including Adrian remain still. Allana decides to walk toward Night Stalk since she is obviously heading towards her. They meet each other halfway and exchange menacing glares for a few seconds before Allana takes hold of the female.
"Her wound is healed and she has collapsed from shock. Otherwise, she will live healthy." Night Stalk
"Good to know." Allana
Night Stalk turns and heads straight for the motorcycle. What really shocked everyone is that Sigma exits the bank through the front door. He mounts his motorcycle just after Night Stalk, she puts on her helmet and they ride off.
"...... So like..... Are they dating or something?" Adrian
"Erase the thought of it please!" Allana
Later that day, Allana, Jarred, Kaguya, Mei Ling and Makoto gather in the living room of the house on Furea Isle.
"So here is the jist of it. One of the officers reported to the commissioner that Sigma performed too care free with the hostage present and resulted in her injury and so called trauma. With that being said, there's a higher chance for that man hunt that he's been pushing for a while to happen." Allana
"I mean.... No offense but Moeru Joo technically healed the wound so what does it actually matter? It wasn't his fault." Mei Ling
"Not everyone is going to see that kiddo." Jarred
"Why not?" Mei Ling
"Because people are like sheep just waiting for a single shepherd to spout nonsense for them to believe." Night Stalk
"...... Hah?" Mei Ling
"They don't know him like we do." Jarred
"Thank you Jarred." Allana
"But here's what I don't get... What's wrong with uncle Kenshin? Does he really feel that bad?" Mei Ling
No one answers Mei Ling as if it were an attempt to avoid the question. That is until Kaguya speaks up.
"He's reliving the trauma of our separation." Kaguya says pulling down her scarf.
Everyone's shock renders them speechless. All except for Mei Ling
"Wait... So that happened in front of him?" Mei Ling
More shock erupts on everyone's face. Allana's anger quickly begins to spike and she would begin to walk closer to Kaguya.
"You.... You told her?!" Allana
"And you didn't." Kaguya
"She is my child!! Not yours!!" Allana
"We were once of the same being were we not?!" Kaguya
"I got her after that incident and you know it!!" Allana
The argument came to an emergency stop the moment an ominous and heavy pressure erupts and covers the area. Both Allana and Kaguya nervously turn their heads to face the source of the ominous pressure, Makoto who hasn't moved from her position on the sofa chair. The pressure gradually dies down until it is fully gone.
"Right now it does not matter how Mei Ling found out. Quite frankly I am more concerned with how well she's taking it." Makoto
"I mean I do have questions." Mei Ling
"What matters right now is Kenshin. Did it seem like the commissioner was sure of the man hunt?" Makoto
"He... He didn't have a date yet but he has a lot of confidence in it." Allana
"This is quite troubling. Kenshin has made quite a name for himself.... There is an unknowable amount of beings that would gladly spring for the chance at him." Makoto
"I can only imagine the amount of damage that could follow up with that." Jarred
"Please my king you must reconsider!" Moeru Joo
All heads turn to the top of the stairs to see Kenshin followed by Moeru Joo and Jiyu.
"There is no telling what will happen if it is actually possible!" Jiyu
"Its a necessary risk." Kenshin
"What is going on?" Kaguya
"Please! You must talk sense into lord Kenshin!" Jiyu
"Kenshin! Come!" Makoto says as she stands up from her seat.
Reluctantly, Kenshin walks out of the kitchen with a glass cup full of ice and a container full of lemonade. He stops right in front of his mother Makoto while averting his gaze.
"What are they talking about?.... Why do you have a full picture of lemonade?" Makoto
"It's not for me. It's for Nalla. I called her here." Kenshin
"What?!!" Makoto
