Specter, Phoenix and Druid currently walk down a busy hall of Guardian Alliance personnel. They are currently heading toward the main conference room.
"So. Think they'll be mad or whatever when only the three of us show up rather than the whole squad?" Phoenix
"I can't tell you how much I don't care." Specter
"Just be glad that The Shogun and The General are there to keep the somewhat peace." Druid
"Actually they're not there. They got called off to a mission not too long ago." Specter
"Oh. Well that's just our luck then." Druid
"No kidding. Maybe we should've stopped Seraiah from shooting off into the atmosphere." Phoenix
"Can't be helped. Seraiah does what Seraiah does and she chose to go after Leonis and the gang." Specter
"Right. Well at least we got each other yeah?" Phoenix
"...... You're pretty optimistic right now." Druid
"Cause you both aren't." Phoenix
They make it to the room where Raid and most of his group are already located.
"You're late. And where's the rest of you?" Eric
"They chose to be somewhere that doesn't involve looking at most of you. That includes you by the way. Their words." Druid
"So basically they still aren't on bored with this idea?" Eric
"What do you think?" Specter
"That's quite the tone you have." Eric
"When it happens you'll be the first to know." Specter
"... When what happens?" Eric
"When I start to care." Specter
Druid and Phoenix are currently doing their best to hold in their laughter. Even some of the ones in Raid's group find it hard to keep their cool.
"Teenagers." Eric
"19. Can we get on with this?" Specter
"Now now. I think that we should all just take a breather come about this in a calmly matter." Lightweight
"Me caring still hasn't happened yet." Specter
Without warning. Specter feels an immense pressure force her to the ground flat on her stomach.
"Wha-? Hey!" Druid
Both Druid and Phoenix would make a quick move but quickly suffer the same fate as Specter. Lightweight walks over to them and crouches down in front of Specter.
"Good. Now that I have all of your attentions we can all keep cool heads about. I understand why you all are so against this sudden change of sides but you need to realize something very important. It doesn't matter what you think. This decision was made. That's all that you need to know to simply comply. We are all just small cogs in a very big machine and we all have to answer to someone. Some more than others obviously but none the less." Lightweight
"Lightweight! That's enough!" Eric
"I'm not finished yet Secretary of Defense." Lightweight
"All the same, you need to-" Eric
"Hey! You're pissing me off!" Druid
Surprisingly. Druid starts to pick himself up off of the ground and it puts a shocked expression on everyone's face.
"Do you mind?" ???
All eyes that are not on the ground look to the entrance to see three unexpected faces enter the room. Mason D'Arc of the top 10. Code named Father D'Arc enters the room with two younger ones following him. One is Shiro and the other is an unknown young lady. What's more surprising is that they came in walking through Lightweight's gravity area as if it didn't exist and it definitely startles Lightweight leaving him speechless.
"I don't like when children get bullied." Father D'Arc says as he glares at Lightweight.
Father D'Arc's glare sends chills down Lightweight's spine and it causes him to lose focus. Specter, Phoenix and Druid suddenly feel the gravity go back to normal and pick themselves up to their feet.
"M-Mason! I didn't expect you." Eric
"I'm very certain that no one did. It's been some time Father D'Arc. Have you been well?" Raid
"Let's get one thing straight. I am not here for any of your benefits. I am here because an actual friend asked me to be here for specific reasons. Don't think that we'll be having any buddy buddy conversation." Father D'Arc
"Hmm. Same ol Mason. Glad to see that some things has yet to change." Raid
"I don't exactly like this ol farts tone with you boss man! Maybe I should teach him a grand lesson?!" Split says speaking up.
"Careful boy. Your entire life so far merely amounts to barely a day in his." Raid
"Say what?" Split
"He means show some respect to your elders. I respect him a whole lot since he brought that cutie along with him." Khan Lin Lin says as she waves her hand at Shiro
"Oh great. It's her again." Athena says as she appears on Shiro's left shoulder.
"I know right? She totally missed me." Ares says as he appears on Shiro's right shoulder.
"Before we continue. Shouldn't you introduce the company that you keep? Starting with the cute one." Khan Lin Lin
"You already know who I am." Father D'Arc
"Oh you got jokes now?" Shiro
Father D'Arc doesn't respond as he keeps a straight face.
"His name is Shiro and I'm Laura. Can we get on with this?" The young lady now known as Laura says.
".... Well ok, "Laura". I can understand why the cute one SHIRO would be here. But why should we care about you exactly?" Khan Lin Lin
"Well if we can get back on track we can get to the dam point. All of you are just so messy." Laura says then walks past everyone to the main console at the center of the room.
"..... I honestly don't fit in here. Everyone just follow her to the dam console. Whoever she is." Eric says then moves to the nearest chair near the console.
"Come on. You three are going to want to hear this." Father D'Arc says to Druid, Phoenix and Specter as he walks along.
Father D'Arc walks up until he comes to a stop where he is shoulder to shoulder with Raid. They both stare into each other's eyes in a silent yet intense confrontation. Father D'Arc grunts and continues on with Shiro and the other three behind him. Once they all gather around the console Raid would take the initiative.
"Well I guess we should get down to the point of the matter. All of us may not be here but we will fill in the rest later. We are all here to talk about one person and one person only." Raid says then presses a button on the main console.
A picture pops up that doesn't surprise most but definitely surprises Specter, Druid and Phoenix.
"Sigma. A threat who acts under no jurisdiction other than his own. Let's get started. Shall we?" Raid
