New Zealand's POV:

I didn't know I was going to see Wales again so soon but I am glad I did. I enjoyed the picnic. Australia Introduced me to his Dad Ireland. Aussie was excited to see him again and they just sat and talked to each other for the duration of the picnic. Aussie's uncle, Northen Ireland, challenged me to a game of rugby and Wales joined in. I wish the picnic lasted longer because as soon as we made it back to the car America grabbed the rugby ball.

"Hey give it back!" I yelled at him.

"Come and get Shorty!" He said holding the ball above his head and teasing me. I was short compared to America but not that short.

"Give it back," Australia said calmly, which was more terrifying than when he yelled. America continued to hold it higher.

Australia was taller than me but shorter than America, however, Aussie was a little smarter than America. America barely had any time to react when Aussie full-on punched him in the gut. America dropped the ball and fell to his knees gripping his stomach.

"F*ck!" America cursed. France and UK, who was taking a little longer to say goodbye ran over to fight going down. America stood and punched Aussie in the face. The UK quickly broke up the fight and France ran to the aid of her son. I picked up the rugby ball and stood next to Canada who was just watching. He seemed worried about the safety of his brothers.

France was yelling at Aussie while America stood behind her poking his tongue out.

"THAT F*CKING C#NT PUNCHED ME IN THE FACE!!!" Australia was mad.

"DON'T YELL AT ME YOUNG MAN!!" France yelled loudly.

"YOU ALWAYS PROTECT YOUR LITTLE PRECIOUS PIECE OF $H#T!!" Aussie was on edge. If he went any further there would have been all-out war.

"Boys? could you two get in the car, please?" UK asked Canada and me as he opened the car door. Canada got in the car first taking a seat in the middle. He patted the seat him, motioning me to sit in the other middle seat. UK shut the door and Canada and I just sat there trying to block out the shouting with a conversation. I held the rugby ball in my hands.

"Do you know how to play any sports?" I asked Canada, hoping he can play rugby as well.

"I do know how to play hockey. It's my favourite sport," Canada replied sounding a little hollow.

"Do they always fight?" I said talking about Australia and America.

"Yeah. Yeah, they have always disliked each other. Actually, when Aussie moved into the household Ame locked him outside for a whole night," Canada answered. I didn't like his response so I stayed quiet. Canada must have noticed because he looked at me with a worried look.

"Ame didn't lock you outside, did he?" Canada sounded a little desperate to know. I just nodded.

"I knew I shouldn't have teased him for being nice to you," He muttered.

"You teased America?" I said confused.

"Only a little. I told him he was being really nice to you for some reason and that it wasn't like him," Canada explained. I wanted to respond but the car doors opened again and an extremely pissed off Aussie sat down next to me while America sat down next to Canada with a smug look on his face.

It was a long and awkward ride home.

Australia's POV:

That f*cking c#nt America made got me in trouble. And It doesn't help that France and UK favour him over me. He was being a pain in the a$$ to Kiwi so I had to do something. At least Kiwi got the ball back but UK said what I did was 'unacceptable'. I hope Kiwi appreciates what I did for him.

I wish Dad decided to keep me. I would have had a better life but, he keeps telling me that he was not ready for the responsibility of raising a country. Unfortunately for me, that landed me a spot in UK's family. I miss Dad. The last good memory I have of him as his son was when he was him giving me a piggyback ride and we were running around the house shouting swear words at Uncle North. I miss those days.

Nowadays, I find myself trapped in a car with the biggest bloody bruise on my face sitting next to a new brother that will divide the attention I get by four. But, there is something about him that makes me want to protect him. Maybe it's because he looks like me. He seemed very desperate to get to this sister of his. But he only talks about her as if he will never see her again.

The car pulled up to the house. The sun was beginning to set. I got out of the car and ran to the front door before anyone else. When UK unlocked the door I ran inside. I promised myself I would do this later. But before I could go out the back I felt someone hug me from behind.

"Thank you, Aussie!" Kiwi hugged me tighter. When he let go he asked me what I was doing.

"I'm gonna give Stevie a proper funeral," I sighed. I had multiple snakes but Stevie died too young. I could feel myself starting to tear up. I had raised him ever since I found him as an egg. And now, he was gone.

"Can I come?" Kiwi asked looking up at me.

"Sure," I said. But as I opened the back door Kiwi held my hand.

"It's gonna be okay. He is in a better place now," He squeezed my hand reassuringly and we walked outside.

I found the bush I placed Stevie under and picked him up. New Zealand and I found a nice tree to bury him under. I dug a hole next to the tree and place Stevie down in his final rest spot. I didn't want to cover him up so Kiwi did it for me. I started crying and New Zealand just hugged me. He let go again and faced the grave.

"I didn't know him well, but Stevie was the best snake I had ever met. If only he stayed around longer for me to know him as the snake he was,". Kiwi's words somehow comforted me. But then, he picked up a sharp stone and began etching something in the tree above Stevie's grave. Kiwi stepped back for me to read it.

Rest in peace: Stevie.

"Thank you, Kiwi," I whispered, "This means a lot to me".
