Be my Shield (Roman Reigns)

Chapter Thirty-six

This was my night, my chance to take back my title. Without Demi there to interfere I was extremely confident that I could beat AJ.

"You ready baby"

Roman asked as I finished lacing up my boots, I jumped to my feet and grabbed him by the vest

"I'm more than ready baby, I want my title back and I plan on getting it"

I kissed him roughly before bounding to the entry door to wait for my music. I could hear AJ's music and I began to stretch hyping myself up when Roman appeared beside me.

"I'm coming down there with you, she's got Kane in her corner"

What the hell? I thought he was Demis sidekick, taking a deep breath I turned to Roman

"Thank you baby, I guess this is Demis way of interfering"

A crowd of fans had gathered around us cheering and taking pictures while security did their best to hold them back. I turned and blew them all a kiss while Roman did his usual routine pouring water all over his hair, it had to be one of the sexiest things watching the water soak his hair and drip down his arms and vest. I had to shake my head to focus on my task at hand.

Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta. Shield

Roman followed me to the ring and made sure to get in first as usual. Kane was standing ringside watching my man as he kissed my head and slid out of the ring.

"Really AJ, Kane?"

I questioned as we squared up, she glared at me and as soon as the bell rang she charged. She got to me before I could side step and took me down to the mat, punch after punch hit my upper body but I did my best to block them before I managed to kick her off me. I leapt to my feet and hit her with a running knee as she got up then it was up on the top rope for a diving crossbody. I went for the pin but she kicked out at 2, I guess I had to try something else. Flinging her into the mat I lined up to spear her but was met with a boot to the face instead, now that hurt like a bitch. She tried to get me into a modified arm bar but I managed to flip over and reverse it now I had her and all I had to do was hold it until she tapped. Unfortunately for me she got a hold of the bottom rope and I had to let go of her, as soon as I did she slid out of the ring. I followed her out but froze in my tracks when she ran behind Kane. He stood still glaring down at me, I began to back up as he came forward when suddenly Roman hit him from behind knocking him to the ground. AJ had seen him coming and had enough sense to get out of the way. Now I had her in my sights, she was distracted watching Kane and Roman fight so I ran at her and superman punched her knocking her into the barrier. I got her up and tossed her into the ring before she could recover and went for the count but again she kicked out at two. She was actually putting up a good fight for once but I was hella determined to win that title back so I wasn't about to let up. I got her up and flung her into the ropes as she bounced back she managed to get a hold of me and go for the black widow, she had it locked in but not very well. It was extremely painful but I refused to tap out, I couldn't. So I went for the last resort and dropped onto my back landing on top of her. I felt a sharp pain in my wrist as it twisted but it got her to let go and I grabbed her leg pinning her flat on her back

The bell rung and I let go jumping to my feet victoriously but my wrist was throbbing painfully so I held it close to my body. I just prayed it wasn't broken. Roman appeared beside me with me belt

"You okay baby girl"

He asked as he looked down at my wrist. I nodded and pecked his lips. He held my uninjured arm up as he thrust the belt in the air as well. I was ecstatic, I got my title back. Mission accomplished.

"Come on baby girl let's get you backstage, you need to see a doc"

Roman stated, he helped me out of the ring and over the barrier carrying me belt as he escorted me past the cheering fans. I waved and blew kisses to as many as i could before we were out of sight. Roman had his arm securely wrapped around my waist and I think if he had his way he would have carried me backstage.

"You were awesome out there Mia"

Seth cheered as he pulled me in for a hug, I winced slightly as he pressed against my wrist and when he pulled away he frowned

"Oh shit I'm sorry, come on let's get to medical"

Dean appeared beside him and scooped me into his arms

"I got you Mia"

I rolled my eyes as he walked off down the corridor with Seth and Roman laughing behind us

"Damn it Ambrose put me down, I'm not crippled"

I shouted, seriously these boys treat me like I'm fragile

"I'm not soft you know, I could kick any of your asses now put me down and get ready for your match"

He did as he was told and stood there pouting, meanwhile I could see Seth and Roman laughing in the corner of my eye.

"Ugh okay I'm sorry, just go get ready. I'll be fine ya lunatic, you too Cruella"

I looked over at Seth before giving them both a kiss on the cheek

"Good luck out there and be careful"

I called as they headed off to get ready. Roman and I carried onto medical and as soon as the doc had a look he frowned and my stomach sank.

"I'm not 100% positive but i think it may be fractured. We won't know for sure until you get an x-ray"

Now that's not what I wanted to hear. He strapped it up and put it in a sling but I refused to leave until the show was over so he gave me some ice and sent me on my way with a promise from Roman he would take me to the nearest hospital as soon as the show was done.

We went back to the backstage area and watched Seth and Dean defend their titles against Jimmy and Jey Uso. It was an exciting match with a lot of high flying and dangerous maneuvers but my boys prevailed in the end retaining their tag team titles.

"Hey Mia, would it be possible to get an interview for the WWE app"

I turned and saw Renee standing there so I happily obliged. We went over to a backdrop set up for the interview

"I'm here with our new divas champion Mia-Rose. Mia how are you feeling, and what happened to your arm"

I didn't want to give anything away about my injury so I downplayed it

"I'm feeling amazing thanks Renee, I was determined to get my title back and im happy I did. As for this its nothing major"

She smiled softly and carried on

"So where to next? Your fued with Demi seems to be heating up, will you two ever make peace"

I rolled my eyes and scoffed

"The days of making peace with Demi are long gone honey. She has put her nose in my business one too many times and she needs to be taught that there are rules. She can't just come up in here and think she runs things uh uh she needs to be put in her place and she will be. Believe that"

I gave the camera a sweet smile before it panned back to Renee

"There you have it our WWE Divas Champion Mia-Rose"

As soon as the camera cut i gave Renee a hug then Dean and Seth appeared beside us, Dean picked her up suddenly and kissed her. It's about time I thought as he placed her back on her feet and she blushed brightly. I guess I'm not the only one in love.
